Maybe she is to some people, even if it's hard for us to understand. :)

Celine has said so many kind words towards Mariah.

I don't think so. To be honest I never heard Celine talking about Mariah Carey. However Celine said many kind words towards Whitney Houston.

 

Well maybe not kind words but she mentioned her like she thought it was cool to share the same stage as her at the grammy's(some yr in the 90's) and that Mariah was one of the singers liked. Celine isn't the type of singers to say something horrible about them in public. She is very classy so when I have heard Mariah Carey out of her mouth she has praised her.

 

And yes she she did say kind words about Whitney like she admires her.

Well the the only time I can recall Celine mentioning Mariah (in an indirect way) was during a report about the Divas Live 1998 concert. She just said it was a great experience to share the same stage with the other Divas. But she never praised Mariah directly or stuff like that.

Last year, or the year before, Celine gave Mariah a birthday present or vice versa. It's probably somewhere on this very forum as a subject. Anyway, there are no harsh feelings between these two, at least not anymore, but probably there never were and it's all an old tabloid rumour. Edited by Dionism

Well cool! Then it's all good we can say that Celine and Mariah are cortual to eachother. Or maybe are friendly. No more rivalries!

 

And this is old but one fan(who was lamb) said when Mariah's dad passed Celine sent her flowers. :flowers: -

There is however an uneccessary rivalry between the fans of both Mariah & Celine, as to who has the better voice etc. Honestly they both have different styles & they both have great voices in their own unique way :)

There is however an uneccessary rivalry between the fans of both Mariah & Celine, as to who has the better voice etc. Honestly they both have different styles & they both have great voices in their own unique way :)

Yeah you know I agree they are both different styles(although not that different). However it don't matter who it is when there are female singers there are always rivalries. Honestly, that is why I stopped or don't pay attention to a lot of female singers and fans because most of the time there is a rivalry. I don't really find rivalries a lot with male singers but then again a whole different subjuect. Edited by Prima_Donna1

Yeah they are, like they use their voices in their own way, we alll have opinions its alright :) All opinions are different just as long as we be respectful i guess :)
