Céline Dion: Je suis tellement heureuse! Les bébés sont en bonne santé, c’est tout ce qui compte, et j’espère pouvoir bientôt les serrer dans mes bras.

 

 

 

Gala: comment s’est passé l’accouchement?

 

 

 

René Angelil: Céline a ressenti de fortes contractions dans la matinée. Le médecin m’a appelé vers 10 heures et je suis arrivé au plus vite. J’ai retrouvé Céline très calme, très concentrée. (…) J’ai pu couper les deux cordons. Céline a pleuré, moi aussi.

 

 

 

Gala: Craignez-vous qu’en donnant la vie à 42 ans, de manquer d’énergie pour vous occuper de vos bébés?

 

 

 

Céline Dion: Pas du tout, je déborde d’énergie! La fatigue et les hauts le cœur, c’est du passé. (…)

 

 

 

Cette semaine, en exclusivité, Gala a obtenu les derniers clichés de la grossesse de Céline Dion. Elle a reçu nos photographes dans sa maison sur l’île de Jupiter Island en Floride, quelques jours avant son hospitalisation. This is the first interview Celine did after she gave birth:

 

Gata: How are you feeling?

 

Celine Dion: I'm so happy! The babies are healthy, it's all that matters and I hope I'll be able to hold them in my arms as soon as possible.

 

Gala: How was the delivery?

 

Rene Angelil: Celine felt powerful contractions in the morning. The doctor called me at around 10 AM and I got there as soon as I could. I found Celine very calm, very focused. I was able to cut both the ombilical chords. Celine cried and so did I.

 

Gala: Do you fear that, because you gave birth at 42, you won't have the energy to take care of the babies?

 

Celine Dion: Not at all, I'm full of energy! The fatigue and the nausea is all in the past.

I mean, the woman is graceful enough to give them an interview a couple of days after giving birth - the first interview - and they waste her time with questions like that Still, as far as I know Gala is an OK mag, I mean they wouldn't make up an interview, even though it seems strage that she even gave an interview at all... It might just be that the actual interview took place a couple of weeks ago, when those photos were shot - because in the first answer she says she can't wait to hold them, but she would have already held them if the interview had taken place after she gave birth - and just the Rene bits were added after the birth and to make people buy the mag they say it's the first interview.... Anyway, we'll have to wait and see.

Celine not being able to hold the babies yet is due to the surgery she had. It is not the babies are that heavy but any pressure from the breast on down is a very sensitive area. They are probably putting a pillow under her arm and near her breast so the babies won't hurt her (This is call the football hold) when she nurses.

 

I want to see want the special revelation she is going to announce, Thursday at 9pm est on the TVA Network, or you can get it on the Celine Dion Channel. Celine was crying while talking to Julie Snyder. When the babies were first born Rene' said that he was going to give as must love as he can to the boys, for as long as he can. I hope nothing is wrong or that Celine will give up her career after this Vegas tour. She may want to just be with her family.

What are you guys talking about? Who said anything about Celine giving up her career? I think you guys are reading too much into the Céline crying part... She cries all the time and I mean she was pregnant, hormones raging and stuff. And René was probably talking in general. I mean he is much older than Céline.

I just bought the magazine and I really don't think, after reading the interview, that it's fake. I mean the way Celine answer looks really Celinish

She talks about the babies, the caesarian (she says that even if the babies had to get out from her ears it would have been okay because she wanted to see them so much lol) and she talks about the names too : she says R-C wants american names, because he is in a american school, but her mother suggests french names, and René and her don't know how to choose. She says she doesn't think about Vegas right now, she leaves that to her manager lol, and talks about her weight (she gained 19 kilos) saying she doesn't care and does not want to get a diet because she wants to breastfeed the kids and she needs to be healthy.
