Celine's unreleased concerts

The Millenium concert was blocked from being released on DVD because of Celine's wish to do so. I don't think it's going to be released anytime soon. Plus, I prefer concerts that portray her vocal performance at the highest...

I don't think the Millenium Concert is any worse vocally than the TCWT DVD. Ok, her voice was not in top shape, but it was certainly much clearer than it is today. What we hear is the raw vocals from the live TV broadcast, they could easily autotune the vocals in the editing process release and it on DVD.

FYI Le Pouvoir du reve songs were filmed LIVE at the Bell Center as part of the show. I was there that night in December 1996. First time I saw Celine live ! I was 12 years old....

So it is a part of the FIY tour!

And Tim, I disagree.

The D5's in MHWGO are terrible. Compare the D5 in that with the D5's in Man's World.

The Eb5 in ABM was absolutely terrible...... compare the Eb5 in that with the F5 in Fade Away.

Everyone acts like the Boston show was terrible. It pisses me off..... sure it wasn't the best show but jesus christ it was far from the worst.

What I care about is things like: Celine Dion Tour, TCOML Tour, Blonde Vegas, LTAL English......

I could care less about getting a DVD that we already have...Let's get something NEW.

TCWT pre America

Yes I hate how they made the concert worse right before the recording of the Boston DVD. Before we had more songs (Think f****** Twice!!) and nicer clothes (except the black backpack dress, which they for no reason at all decided to have on the cover of the dvd/cd even though she wore the pink on in both concerts :doh: ).

But as was mentioned in the first posts, they are for sure waiting till Céline's long dead before they'll likely release such material (including album left overs) so they can milk her to the max. Luckily we're younger than Céline, but still it's very sad though. :confused:

Blonde Vegas is horrible [i can bet, that's why they threw it away], LTAL english [this one could be good if it ever existed], Celine Dion tour = she opened for Michael Bolton she never did a full concert so no enough footage for a DVD, TCOML she only did a few concerts and my guess they don't have any footage from the tour other than the concert.

Her London 1996 show was GREAT, she sang every song LIVE and she was at top shape. If they have the audio, I can bet that they have the video somewhere.

I want A l'olympia DVD as well becoz it's the only concert where she integrates a lot of songs from her CD Dion chante Plamondon.

Blonde Vegas = Horrible - This is a matter of opinion, so this won't count against you. But let's see....Fever, At Last, Have You Ever Been In Love, Anmore Annascunnuto (it was live in 2003), Et J'aime Encore, The First Time Ever I Saws Your Face, Nature Boy, What A Wonderful World......all these EXTRA songs....all live. What is horrible about that?

Hmm, doesn't seem very short to me. And how many of these songs have we actually see live on a regular basis....very damn few.

TCOML Tour - not very many shows performed???? 98 shows just isn't enough to choose from.......

London 1996 - 100% live??? LOL....The Power Of Love, Misled, WDMHBN, Only One Road, Declaration Of Love, Falling Into You.....all these are/were lipped at that concert.

I think any cost would be too much for Sony. But if you're listening, we will happily pay you for these items! Please, release every show you ever filmed and rip us off big time...I want to be exploited! Go for it!!!
HAHA we would so buy anything that was released... Celine toilet paper? sure why not?!

I think that's the problem. They make NO effort whatsoever: ANDHC "special" edition, TAST "special" edition, ML (both versions), the TCWT cd/dvd mess, all the different combination of her main albums + everything in the Team Celine store. I proved my point long ago, but I needed it out of my system! :glare:

Look at it on the bright side....we (generally) get a decent DVD for each tour.

Whitney Houston fans have had....not 1, not 2, not 3....but ZERO DVDs.....same for Kelly Clarkson, and many other artists.

We can complain all we want, but we still have ALOT.....whether official or unofficial.

LTAL English concert: the only FULL footage we have are taken from a Montreal Concert and not from an English concert. We have some footage from the opening of the tour and some snippets but no full concert other than Camrip concert.

the LV 2003 concert was thrown away becoz her hair was sooo Bright that it would have been hard to see the concert through the bleached hair. BTW, if she lipsynched the Ammore song in LV 2007, it would have been the same recording that dates from the 2003 DVD audio. Basically, she's lipsynching to the other performance that was already recorded earlier in 2003 but with a better hair...

EVERY show in the LTAL tour was recorded. With 430838 camera like they have at an official DVD taping?? No, probably not... But they have enough cameras to give us good angles and make us happy. There have been 5 Montreal performances at least, a Zora Sourit performance, a SSD performance from Chicago, two ABM performances, a MHWGO performance from Florida and Chicago, etc....they have the means to give us a DVD if they want.

And even if they "threw it away" they still have copies of it somewhere. It's not lost forever. And no it would not have been the same recording. Look at the bootleg of Ammore from 2003....it's different from the 2007 DVD by quite a bit....compare the DVD one with a 2007 bootleg, a 2006 bootleg, 2005, 2004, etc...any bootleg you want....it will be the same. Sometime between 2003-2004 the song went from being live to being playback. Your argument only stands true if it became a playback before the DVD was made (the bootleg from 2003 is opening night and was live then).

The Blonde DVD 2003 is NOT the opening night; I'm 100% sure it isn't becoz I saw footage of the "et je t'aime encore" performance and the blonde hair that she had was different from the blonde hair she had on the opening night. If you want, there are 2 DVDs of Celine in Blonde Hair: the opening night and the un-official DVD that was meant to be released in 03-04. The opening night aired on TF1, ABC and many other channels it was kinda a TV-promo-special. From my point of view, [i hate the whole LV staying], both DVDs can stay unreleased and I won't really be affected becoz I dislike both... :thumbsup2:

I thought it had already been edited or partially, because wasn't there a release date for it and posters up advertising it?? They wouldn't have done that without some work being done on it.

I had no idea they announced this! I bet they changed their minds because of the playback situation, it would have been foolish to put 2 different shows into a major release like this with identical vocals on some of the songs. If they did choose to release both shows together they would probably have made her dub the 2007 concert playbacks, just so they were different to the 2003 version. This is what they eventually did with the TCWT...

If we are talking about videos they should release I can add one more to the list... Live À L'Olympia.. it is so strange we do have a CD of it but no DVD/ VHS was released.. And I'm pretty sure they taped it!

As in fact I was lucky enough to visit the Piccolo studios in 2002 where Céline recorded A New Day Has Come and many more songs/ albums. (during our visit Linda Lemay was recording some songs and we had no idea of who she was back then! :redface: ) And on of the guys who showed us around told us that EVERYTHING Céline does on tour and in the studio IS recorded and saved! So everything we "want" they have... I just think it is just a mather of time before they will release it I think.... Maybe they will one day do the same as what they did with Barbra Streisands newest album. But at the other hand some sons didn't make the album for no reason.. some were just "not good enough" or didn't fit the album. I think we just have to wait and see... and till then just try to make some HQ MP3 files out of the youtube videos :queen:

It would be fantastic if they would release these concerts on DVD for the fans. While I would adore seeing the unreleased concerts (A New Day… with blonde hair); Millennium, etc. -- I think it would make the most sense to release Live in Memphis first. Since so many people are attached to that concert, I believe it would sell well. Then they can release others after that.

what about asking the people from the official website about ONE unreleased dvd? (we have to decide which one here first) If they listened to the fans in 2006, why wouldn't they listen again now?

I'll wait and see if more fans join me and then we'll talk about which DVD we want to ask them about and how we are going to do it, it's just a matter of organization.

BTW: Please, to help me on this try to let as many fans as possible know this idea by sending PM to as many people as you can. Keep in mind that we could eventually get an unreleased DVD!!
