As much as I don't believe this will happen, I am still somewhat curious on what it would sound like.

 

I find it weird so many of you shout no when you don't know what it will sound like. You can't tell how a vocal collaboration will sound till you hear it. What seems as a good idea in theory can be awful in practice - like the duets on LTAL.

I'm sorry to say this, but that is one collaboration I don't want to see happening. Rihanna is not in the same league as Celine...

 

I agree with Claudette, Rhianna is not in the same league vocally as Celine (Actually live Rihanna is horrible, more of a recording artist) ..... However pretty much everything Rhianna records go's #1! Which would not be a bad situation for Celine A collaboration like this would put Celine back on the charts Lastly this is prolly just spam so we are wasting our time talking about this subject

Sure, Rihanna isn't really a vocalist ("in the same league as Celine" as some of you have put it), she's more of an entertainer than anything else - that's true. But I do like most of her material - then again, that's personal taste.

It really makes you wonder what these "surprise" collaborations are all about.

I agree on that. Sure, she's not that much of a vocalist as our dear Céline but she still has a pretty good voice and I think their voices would go great together. I'd like to see this happen too.

Céline performs, but that's it, she doesn't integrate with the songs as Rihanna, she doesn't CLAIM her own music. She's like a stereo player, plays what music one puts in there.

 

Céline rarely talks about her music, it's almost like she's there for something else, I can't figure out what though.

It's really a hard question since Rihanna has done both up-tempo and ballads. I think they would go for something more up-tempo though. It's hard thogh, idk.
