I agree with Jacqui. I don't think that would be good. Even maybe sort of scary. I mean, they're just so different. I hope that it's not true. It just wouldn't fit. It's seems like that would be a huge mistake.

Rihanna is not in the same league as Celine but she is hip and has had many hits, so why not???!!!

You guys seem to forget that Celine recorded ''I'm Your Angel'' with R. Kelly who is mainly a R&B/Hip-Hop artist. They weren't in the same league but they did a great job together and their duet generated great success. Of course Celine isn't in the same league as Rihanna but I think a collaboration between them could be just as good as Celine's collaboration with R. Kelly. Rihanna already gave us her "Rockstar 101" best on last year's Rated R, so this time she's turning it up with a new CD whose title says it all. The singer revealed in a chat with fans over the weekend that her fifth studio effort will be called Loud.

 

It's due out on November 16 and is preceded by the single "Only Girl (In the World)," which premiered on Ryan Seacrest's radio show early Tuesday (September 7).

 

"I'm done recording the whole album," Rihanna revealed during the chat, which took place on the official fansite Rihanna Daily. "I made sure not to let you down with my music! You guys are always defending me, so now you've got some great songs to justify it. I didn't want to go backward and remake [2007's] Good Girl Gone Bad. I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna, and it's perfect for us."

 

The singer said she's never been this excited about any album she's done, urging the members of her RihannaNavy to "get LOUD everybody, get crazy, get excited, cuz I'm pumped. I'm just gonna be ME, cuz that's what u guys love the most, and that's what makes me feel best.

 

Just being normal, normal for me is LOUD! Sassy, fun, flirty, energetic."

 

While Rihanna said she'll miss the Rated R era, she promised that one year after that dark, emotional effort, "nothing compares to the album I just made." She also teased some "surprise" collaborations on the disc, though she didn't reveal any names during the chat.

 

"Girl" is produced by Sandy Vee and Stargate, who also collaborated with Rihanna on such early hits as "Don't Stop the Music," "Hate That I Love You" and the R banger "Rude Boy."

Depending on the type of song, Rhianna and Celine wouldn't go good together, no offense to Rhianna. I think if she did a duet with someone like Rhianna, it would be better of with someone like Beyonce or Christina Aguilera or Leona Lewis..

Anyway, about Rihanna and Celine, I'd be happy if they will have a duet.

People, what's wrong with you? It could be a beautiful thing! Remember the duet with Will.I.am? He's not really famous for being classy or for making wonderful melodic love ballads and the collaboration was fantastic! It's such a shame the opportunity to make it a huge hit was blatantly missed!

I think a duet with Rihanna might be a really wonderful thing! And everybody starts dissing it just because of the tought of Celine and Rihanna singing together.

They pulled off the blond LILV DVD because of everybody complaining, why not pull a possible and possibly wonderfull song.

Just stop with the negativity and wait and see what happens. It is possibly just a rumour anyway, but if it weren't, it won't be a bad thing either.
