Javito Posted September 27, 2010 at 10:59 PM Posted September 27, 2010 at 10:59 PM Hi guys!! First it was the lyrics of a spanish song (¿Sabes Cómo Es El Amor?)... then it was an unreleased photoshoot... ...and now I have the immense pleasure to share with this forum another exclusive from the the "A New Day Has Come" album!!! : the (until now) unreleased version of "Nature Boy (Orchestral Version)" (Arranged, Conducted and Orchestrated by Jorge Calandrelli) Download link:[hide_me]Click Here[/hide_me] Thanks to the generosity and kindness of Mr Jorge Calandrelli, the pianist who plays the original version in Céline's "A New Day Has Come" album , now we can enjoy this new version, who has been kept unreleased since 2002. I hope you like this amazing version. The strings are really gorgeous!!! NOTE: Jorge Calandrelli has been so kind and generous to send me this .mp3, and he only asked me to be credited wherever I shared it. Of course I wanted to share this with all you guys, but it's not my intention to upload it on youtube, emule or any other sites except this forum where I feel like home. If you want to do that, feel free to do so, but PLEASE credit Jorge Calandrelli next to the title. You all know how hard is to get this kind of unreleased material from Sony so please, let's show that in this forum we know how to acknowledge and respect the work when it comes to music and the authorship of a song Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

JP Posted September 28, 2010 at 01:53 AM Posted September 28, 2010 at 01:53 AM OMG OMG!! I remember, she talked about this version on a Quebec Tv show "Le Grand Blond avec un Show sournois"When Eddy Marney told her how it would be great is she recorded that song, they decided to add so many violons, big orchestra, to do something huge. And then, they realize, it is such a huge song itself, it doesn't need anything else than piano-voice, to do something beautiful! I never taught i would be able to listen to this version one day!! Thank you so very much, God bless you!! 1 Quote http://static-illicoweb.videotron.com/illicoweb/static/webtv/images/content/player/TVA_Celine_Dion_Sans_Attendre_Vf_WT_Poster.jpg

Javito Posted September 28, 2010 at 08:46 AM Author Posted September 28, 2010 at 08:46 AM You're welcome guys!! I'm happy to see you like it OMG OMG!! Yeah, that's the story. Jorge told me that the first piano solo version was recorded at Piccolo Studios in Montreal (like many of the songs in the album) along with Céline's vocals. Then he wrote this orchestral arrangement in Miami and then flew to LA to record it in the Sony Scoring Studio they have there, with a big orchestra. He showed the final touch to Céline but, although she loved so much this version, she preferred the piano solo version, with by the way its an EDIT! (the album version is 3:45 while this one lasts 4:13 ) This is one of the best additions to the forum---next to "Would I Know". Thanks so much! It's a very special feeling when we get something unreleased in years, isn't it?? I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the .mp3 attached in my email Maybe now we should go in search for the english L'amour existe encore and the spanish ¿Sabes Cómo Es El Amor?! This is what I call an exclusive! Did Christmas come early this year? Thanks a lot guys for making it available. It was a great monday indeed. Céline revealing herself as a songwriter, a new huge book of unreleased photos, and an unreleased song too! I hope people realize what an extraordinary gift this is. It truly is! I could have never done this without Calandrelli's permission. He has been so kind to let this version be shared with "nothing in return" (as the song says! ). Sony should learn from this guy! Why on Earth they didn't include this in the so called "collector's edition" of the album in 2008? I haven't burn a blank CD in years, but now I'm making my own version of A New Day Has Come, with these tracks: 1. I'm Alive (Humberto Gatica Mix)14. The Greatest Reward (Extended US version)17. Nature Boy (Orchestral Version) 18. Coulda Woulda Shoulda19. All Because Of You Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
Claudette Posted September 28, 2010 at 08:51 AM Posted September 28, 2010 at 08:51 AM Question: did Celine record the vocals twice too, or did they use the same vocals over both tracks? Quote http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
