If I remember correctly the AND Mother's Day benefit tickets were an avaerage of $5000 ??

Anyone remember?

2nd Mezz might have been around $2000.

 

These will not be cheap.

Considering you'll be getting the first preview of the show, they should be highly valued.

 

If they are within my budget then I will SOOOO be there !!!

 

No they weren't that expensive.....Maybe Front Orch 4, but there were definately cheaper seats (normal priced).

Yup and the audience was mostly the staff of Ceasars. A girl at the Celine Dion shop told me that they all got to see the show then.

 

But common, don't be upset that people at the premiere aren't the first ones to see the show. It's NEVER like that. There are always test runs and special performances before premiers.

 

 

I'm not going to spend a lot of money to get to that benefit show, but I'm going to try to go if it's within my budget. And my budget is low since I'm allready seeing her 3 times in less than a week

If this wasn't three days before I would so want to buy a ticket. Ugh. This is disappointing and now I feel like the "premiere" is hardly a premiere and doesn't matter.

I really believe that the reason this was added was to get the media/press talking again. Even bad publicity is part of the deal in Hollywood (even tho it will for sure be good)

oh snowballs... thousands of dollars for a ticket is FAR out of my budget. I'd rather see 4 or 5 shows for that price than one half show. BUT if it were IN my budget, it still sucks that its on a saturday so people will fly in friday, spend BIG bucks for a hotel fri, sat, sun night (bc its the weekend) Vegas is going to make BANK just out of people trying to get to this benefit show. And if you go .. what in the WORLD will you do for 3 days until more celine and everyone else starts arriving. ha. I mean< i guess gamble:) BUT, I'm doing good to afford a flight... so I cant worry too much about this i guess :/

the premiere is THE premiere of the show!! I think it's a very nice idea to use the dress rehearsal as a benefit concert! This way a good cause can benefit from the show!

I hope some people from the forum attend this show and record it. It will be interesting to see if she sings mostly live in this rehearsal/benefit concert, as ABM was all live in the first TCWT show. (However, this might just have been a test to see if she could still confidently hit the high note without playback...we'll never know!)

I dont think with Oprah she did the full show. Oprah introduced her and they started with the power of love rather than starting with Nature boy.

Exactly, its a ''soft opening'' as they call it in Vegas, it's not a Premiere, its to see what people think of the show before the premiere, and they then or may not decide to change or tweek something then for the actual opening night.. and I think the money raised will be for local communities/charities in Vegas... Exactly Darren.

While I'd love to be able to go to such a show, I ain't going to fret about it. The show premieres on the 15th. That's the big opening night, the 12th is just the last of the dress rehearsels with an audience. It's nice to see that they are using this occasion to raise money. Maybe those of you in Vegas on the night can get some good photo's of people going in and out of the show. Perhaps get some interviews from the audience after the show, find out some stuff so we can compare and contrast later. Even better if one of ye manage to get a ticket.

LOL it's a missunderstood: I was trying to prove that it IS a NON-importance show (however you call it) to the ones who were complaining. It was sarcasm... (That's why I typed the emotion: ) Because I saw some people complaining and the same people expecting to get there on the 12th. It was in some way to make those people agree with themselves.
