Shaun I totally agree with what you said, and yes a certain branch of Sony Music ( UK ) is the only branch of the company that really tries and cares about Celine's career as far as I can see... its just very unfortunate and sad that the two main branches who get the final say, and make the choices in her career, don't always make the right ones, and really don't get behind her career or support her in the same way.

 

All they seem to care about is money, not the artist... which is sad, maybe harsh, but very true...

 

I honestly think that if Sony UK had the final say, or were included more in these final decisions regarding her career, we would not be complaining today!

It's been years since Céline and René could have founded their own record label and release the music and albums they wanted for us, like Mariah Carey did when she fed up of Sony's poor promotion to her. Céline could have done the same. But of course, this didn't happen and won't happen, since Céline doesn't give a damn about her music career today, much less René

 

They have enough power today in the music industry to do this, and if René cared, he would ask Sony to release something special for the fans this year. But I bet he hasn't even realized about this anniversary

I just read in Rene Angelil: The Making of Celine Dion that while Celine was recording the songs for her "demos" to be passed around that she recorded the songs

I think that they could release this since it was her first recordings. This would be a gem to have. Although, I doubt they would do it, one can only hope.
