Celine, A Cry Baby?

Candy Crowley is awesome (she's the voice in the CNN video). That said, I think it's great that Celine shows emotion and doesn't give a rat's behind to what others may think of her. She's always been that way; it makes her genuine.

Getting back to the video, I don't really know why she was crying while singing "Alone." Was there an underlying theme, like on the Oprah special a couple months back? Btw, this is first time I've seen that Chinese televison clip.

I think she was crying because they showed some footage of her dad in the background.

Why was she crying? Well, here is the answer :shifty:

No, I also think that it was because of the footage of her father :ermm:

She misses her daddy. He looked really cool. Like a prankster. A sweet prankster always smiling.

When you think about it, some of her oldest brothers and sisters had a lot more time with their father than Céline. A lot of them were in their teens and almost completely out the door when she was born. Then Maman Dion traveled with Céline and the kids were home with her father. :( Never really thought about that til now. I know he was her biggest fan ;) I love seeing clips of her performances where he is in attendance and the camera pans over and shows his face. Dah. He was so proud. :) No wonder she cried- she's just as emotional as the next Daddy's Little Girl.
