Ramona is the most generous fan that I've been blessed to know. She's the reason why I got to meet Celine for the first time in Vegas. I'll always cherish those wonderful moments.

I look at it this way- and it's really hard to explain if you don't feel this way yourself because it really is something you ARE not something you choose- Once is never enough. You go once and you realize that's where you need to be. And every chance you get, you go. And you're happy. It's honestly like your heart has found it's home. Everyone has it, just not with Céline. My heart's home is with Céline. Your heart maybe home with....polka dancing. Or.....cooking. Or cooking with Emeril. i don't know. To each his own.

 

It's just so hard to explain. And every time, you grow happier and you can share your happy with so many people who are also happier haha and then you get something out of it you never expected, friendship because when you have Céline in common, everything else just falls into place.

 

And you can still donate to the poor and needy and go see Céline. Just sayin.

 

And it doesn't mean that you are missing something in your life and you need to try to find out what it is. I am extremely happy with my life. I just get SUPER DUPER HAPPY when I'm able to see Big Mama.

I understand what you mean; however, you have to know that you are living in A SEMI-FAKE world. You are living in a cocoon that is called SHOW_BUSINESS where the intention of the artist is to keep followers that would keep cashing-in so they [Artists] never go broke. If you only feel good when you see Celine in concert or when you buy her stuff or even when you see her, you are in serious TROUBLE. Show-business is HUMAN-INVENTION that can be shattered at any time. I mean Celine,Whitney,Mariah and whoever sings won't be here forever; what will you do if Celine won't be with us anymore? What will you do with your money then? If you went to Vegas and centered your whole life over Celine and Celine is gone? What will be your reaction? I can understand people that like Celine, go see her once,twice or 3 times in their life but when your life [Ramona's case] is attached to Celine's life now it becomes dangerous because you would go nuts if Celine might die.

Seriously, I could not agree more. I especially loved "it really is something you ARE, not something you choose."

Personally, I admire Ramona. I love seeing people going after what they want and what makes them happy. Why shouldn't people do what makes them happy?? Life is short; live it up!

 

And can I just say, I think that "Celine is my happy place" shirts are pretty much a requirement now lol

I don't know how this magic of meeting someone for the 1st time can be revived when you constantly see them like 88th time FTW. moe i agree wuth you once again. there has to be something wrong in this type of personality. personally i think romaona is a very nice person but this sort of obssession is not really about Celine. the same with the gambler personality or the stalker personality or the chronic sex addict. there's something lacking in ones life when ones own life and happiness depends on a certian action. like masturbation, sex, gambling, etc.. see what i mean. that much on someone else especially when it involves so much money , sort of like risky gambling. scray. im sure Celine doesnt feel that comfortable with someone treking to every country shes in .

If I had the money to travel across the world to see Celine a millions times, I would, because she is my idol and my inspiration! My life is just beginning, as I am 18, and I am hoping to do what I love in the future, and have the financial stability to follow my dreams, just like Ramona, and make them come true!

 

For those who dont know or have not met Ramona, should not say any negative comments about her, because she is so nice, and generous! She treats you like you are family, when you dont even know each other! The first time I saw Ramona, I saw here from afar, and I was just wondering if its her, then I noticed it was, and I yelled "RAMONAAAA!!!"" and we just walked up to each other and we hugged and laughed! How amazing is that! I was 16/17 and our age difference did not matter! She is genuine, and what you see in all those interviews or anything, is truly Ramona, and I think she is just awesome!

 

I love you RAMONA! Only Celine can bring strangers together, and make them feel like friends!

I have to believe that Ramona understands the boundary between herself and Céline. If she didn't than security would take the appropriate action.

 

I think it's important to be able to express happiness for others. What brings someone happiness may not bring you happiness and you may not understand why it brings them happiness, but you should be able to identify with the feeling of being happy. I mean I don't understand why my brother loves World of Warcraft so much and I hate how much he talks about it, but it brings him happiness and because of that I'm happy for him. I had someone in my life who did criticize me for being a Céline fan and I felt that I had to watch what I said around them. It was no fun so I ended the relationship. It just seems that people should be able to be happy for others or at least not be judgmental. Who are we to judge people that we don't know or people that we care about?

I travelled twice from Iceland in one year to see Céline in Las Vegas. The travel from Iceland to Las Vegas took 18 hours each time and a LOT of money. Saw her 5 times total. Does that make me crazy? Maybe, but it made me HAPPY!

 

Céline has hundreds of shoes but she is still buying more and more. Hey she doesn't need that many shoes, but it makes her HAPPY.

 

Frida spends a lot of time looking at clothes online, checking out what Céline is wearing, even clothes she wore years ago. Is anything wrong with that? nope since it makes her HAPPY.

 

Lindsay is going to spend money on having a Céline themed wedding, something wrong about that? nope since it makes her HAPPY

 

Belle Céline is spending time on finding HQ pictures of Céline and is saving them on the computer, something wrong about that? nope since it makes her HAPPY

 

Common, we all have our obsession or things we like. Spending time or money on it really doesn't matter as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else and makes you HAPPY.

 

If we don't have happiness, then why go on? So we should really take care of what we like and makes us happy because that's worth a LOT.

I haven't met Ramona, but the reason why I still do believe I can meet Céline one day is because of fans like her She's the living example of all our same wish, that is, to see and meet Céline one day. I haven't even seen her in concert because she has never been in my country, but thanks to fans like Ramona I still do believe that one day that dream will finally come to me too It can happen, no matter if its just one time or hundreds of them. I have nothing against Ramona, I'm sure she's a lovely person but I can't personally imagine spending so much money on Celine. It's nice that she was able to do that and I'm happy for her but I can't see myself doing what she did. To me if I did something like that it would just be to much.

 

Ramona, you are a very lucky fan to have saw and met Celine so many times. It took me until I was 22 before I was able to go see Celine just once and even then I had to scrimp and save dollars to get enough for one ticket. Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to go to Vegas, I'm sure I'll see you there

I find some of the responses on here to be somewhat sad. Yes, Ramona could have a mental disorder (although I'm willing to bet not, but then again I think we all do in some fashion). Even if she were to have a mental disorder that is for her to work through. Not to mention, the last thing that would help a person going through something like is to belittle or mock them. If anything that could make it worse and drive them even further into a downward spiral.

 

Furthermore, one has to question what kind mental disorder somebody may have if they feel the need to judge another person with what they do with THEIR money. So long as Ramona's spending isn't hurting anybody except herself (and again that is questionable), then what right does anybody have to say what she should or shouldn't do with that money. I have collected numerous things throughout my life of Celine's and I would hate for someone to be judging me by saying I could have saved someone's life if I had just donated that money to a homeless shelter instead of buying from eBay. As it is those items have helped ME stay afloat financially and help others. "How?," you ask? Simple. When hard times came into my life I was able to sell certain items and help pay some of my bills. I was also able to put my cat to sleep and help him release the pain he was going through. So, I'd really suggest those who judge others may want to look at the bigger picture someday and look in the mirror. Maybe the reason you are judging others is because of something you don't like about yourself?

I think this is a useless debate. We have no right to dictate to Ramona what she should be doing. It's not OUR business. We should all worry about ourselves and what we do with our time and money.

 

I myself feel bad that we have a thread full of posts degrading another fan that reads this forum. No one should feel bad for supporting Celine.
