Belle Céline Posted May 12, 2010 at 10:34 PM Posted May 12, 2010 at 10:34 PM She's uh very...enthusiastic from what I know. She spent like her life saving to go to Celine's shows. She saw her in Vegas like 200 times or something bit much. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
CelineIsNumber1 Posted May 12, 2010 at 10:36 PM Posted May 12, 2010 at 10:36 PM so may of us will say we are Celines biggest fan. Were all Celines biggest fan in our own way really.
angelil78 Posted May 12, 2010 at 11:07 PM Posted May 12, 2010 at 11:07 PM I would have gone to see Céline 200 times, hey even 600 times in Las Vegas if I could have afforded it And I agree, we are all the biggest fans in our own way
celinefanonline Posted May 12, 2010 at 11:20 PM Posted May 12, 2010 at 11:20 PM (edited) she didn't went to AND show for like 200 but probably just over 100cause in the AND dvd it's filmed in Jan 07 and she said she's been on the show for like 88 times or something so yeahand wasn't she on news for the 100th time and had dinner or soemthing with Celine.but still that's a bit too much... Edited May 12, 2010 at 11:22 PM by celinefanonline Courage don't you dare fail me now!
I Love You Posted May 13, 2010 at 12:08 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 12:08 AM I totally agree, with you all on this. I think we are all crazy fans, in some sort of way. I mean I have seen her live twice, but to spend your whole life savings to see Celine live in Vegas over 100 times. In some ways a bit much, or is it just me.
lindsey22 Posted May 13, 2010 at 12:18 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 12:18 AM (edited) She's uh very...enthusiastic from what I know. She spent like her life saving to go to Celine's shows. Were all Celines biggest fan in our own way really.i agree , we are all Celine's biggest fans each in his own way. the Biggest fan is not dictated by how big our bank account is. I'm sorry but that comment just offends me to no end. Maybe the person who saved and pinched every penny and starved in order to see Celine just once is her BIGGEST FAN. Please stop the nonsense about ramona being the biggest fan because SHE ISN'T! Edited May 13, 2010 at 12:18 AM by lindsey22
ladylindsey Posted May 13, 2010 at 12:29 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 12:29 AM I would definitely spend my life savings on Céline tickets. I have a whole separate credit card set aside for ONLY Céline tickets and whenever something happens all of a sudden likeeeeee when I saw a commercial on tv announcing Céline was coming to Nashville for the first tim ein 10 yrs i almost DIED righ thten and there and frantically got online or when Vegas tickets go on sale without any warning, I can load it up with no interest for a yr Then I just work to pay it off and have my tickets waiting on me! Worth every cent. It's hard to explain if you don't already understand/ feel that way. I have family that think I'm nuts. BUT they spend just as much money on trivial things and their own hobbies. I don't go out to eat very often, I save everything I have for what means the most to me. If you have the money, it's your money, it's your decision. Like with Céline's gigantic Cartier panther ring. "She worksss hardd for the moneyyy." Why waste it on other things when you can make a memory and have the time of your life and be in complete BLISS in the front row at a Céline show?? I can honestly say I have never ever been happier than when I was following Céline around on tour last year. Hands down, the best moments of my life. And I have never even gotten to meet her or anything like that, it was just MAGICAL, something I've had inside me since a little girl. I mean, we are moving to Vegas at the end of the year. I have to go where I will be happiest or I will be miserable. I can get an amazing job in what I want to do there and go see Céline at night. Win Win! I don't think it's too much at all, each individual has to do what makes them happy and go where they will be happy. If it's at 100+ Céline shows, then so be it. Sounds absolutely perfect to me

Sounds absolutely perfect to me very well said. who will decide what is too much or too little when it comes to one's happiness?? only the one!! and nothing else; and in this case, romana. i think this what makes her happy. remember what she said in AND DVD? "seeing celine/attending the show is like homecoming". judging alone to that statement, IT'S NEVER TOO MUCH. if you think she's crazy, then you don't understand the essence of being a "fan" -whether biggest or smallest; as much as romana can understand. and this might probably makes her the "greatest celine dion fan".
theotherR Posted May 13, 2010 at 01:15 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 01:15 AM You got that right, Lindsey! I don't know how many times this topic about "Ramona, the Crazy Celine Fan" has been brought up and I would like, once and for all put all your questions, comments (good, bad and indifferent) to rest. We all have our passions, and mine just happened to be seeing Celine perform in as many times as I can possibly can. For one, I do not belong to the same age group as majority of you all are. I turned 64 years old last month and have been there and have done it all. I have had (and still do) a wonderful career, which you can see if you google "Ramona G. Almirez." I have raised 2 wonderful kids, Patricia who will be 40 years old this Sept., and living a wonderful life in Hawaii, and Peter, 37, a Capt. in the U.S.Army, with a wife and 2 wonderful kids, living in Denver, CO. So, having said that, all my time at the moment is free for me to indulge in whatever form or fashion I would like, including going around the world to see Celine or going to as many shows in Vegas as I possibly can. All these I do without inconveniencing anybody, financially or otherwise. It is SOLELY for my own enjoyment! Not one of you who has thought of me in a negative way has ever personally met me nor seen me post or brag about having met Celine numerous time. Life is too short to dwell on such negative thoughts! Be happy that somebody, other than yourself, has had the chance to do what we all dream of doing, that is, of getting to know and meet Celine. It should serve as an inspiration to you all, that dreams do come true, no matter how slim the chances seem to be. Also, please keep in mind that I do represent all the fans. Celine and Rene had never thought of me as being crazy or obnoxious, so why would you? They are very appreciative of devoted fans and have said so numerous times and interviews. I wish all of you the same luck that I've had and remember, time is on your side! You have barely started living yet! Don't begrudge someone who has spent her life working, raising a family, succeeding in her profession, and finally, having the financial means to follow her dreams! I wish you all the best!Ramona 2
angelil78 Posted May 13, 2010 at 01:23 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 01:23 AM Totally agree with you Lindsay! I have so many times, like often every week had to defend my spending because I am not like a normal girl that buys clothes and shoes all the time. I spend money on Céline and some tech gadgets. That's what makes ME happy. I'm not working my butt off to spend money to make other people happy. And Ramona! I say good for you! I would totally do what you are doing if I could!

I have never been happier than when I have been preparing for, traveling to, attending, or remembering a Celine Dion concert I watched in the past. Some moments are priceless and you cannot put a pricetag on them. Vive Celine! Yay, nicely said! I had one of the funniest road trips to see Celine during the last leg of the tour and I definitely will always remember the priceless moments. Money was not an issue because we were having a blast and we paid for extra nights in our suite because the concert was postponed a day. As long as you're happy with what you're doing, nothing can beat that! And we were fortunate enough to document the entire trip on cameras and my friends and I have a very funny DVD of our adventure. You could call it our own TTEOTW! Edited May 13, 2010 at 03:06 AM by riobeard11

lindsey22 Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:39 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:39 AM spending all your life savings or retirement savings to see Celine is certainly one's own business. we live in a free society and surely one is free to do with one's own money as he or she sees fit, to make them feel happy , to give them a quick moment of satisfaction etc. but that is something that doesn't last and is only temporary. perhaps one needs to examine whats lacking in his or her own life to derive such reasonings as illogical actions towards spending vast amounts of money to give only a fleeting moment of satisfaction. there has to be something seriously lacking there. consequently to espouse the title of 'biggest fan' based on a dollar amount is wildly ludicrous.
ladylindsey Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:41 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:41 AM (edited) aw no way! haha Céline likes it. It obviously means a lot to her to make someone so happy. She is really touched by her fans. It's one of the main reasons she continues to perform. When she sees every one coming back again and again, I know it must be very supportive for her. And you can't call Ramona crazy- I am planning a dang Céline themed wedding and wore a bed sheet to Walmart 2 nights ago like Eyes on Me. I can tell you that there are a lot of fans who have had the chance to meet Céline multiple times that are the very opposite of selfish. They really do realize they have been lucky and try their hardest to help a fellow fan experience the same, because it is probably even more rewarding to stand back and watch a fan meet Céline for the first time and have their moment than doing so yourself for the billionth time. I have seen people push other fans who have never met Céline to the front so they can have their moment first, who have grabbed their hand and tried to get them to Céline without even knowing them, just knowing they are a big fan and how much it would mean to them, and offering to get notes backstage to Céline bc of the relationship they have with her crew. It's not all about them. It's about helping each other realize our passion together Edited May 13, 2010 at 03:47 AM by ladylindsey
JerseyGirl126 Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:43 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:43 AM i hope one day i will be able to see celine whenever i'd like & not have to worry about anyone or anything stopping me, especially financially. i'm going to be a teacher, and i know that it's not alot of money, but hopefully i'll be able to save up. unfortunately, money is what i mostly need to achieve my celine dreams lol. and luck as well, i believe. and a lot of faith. you are an inspiration ramona, and after working so hard throughout your life, you deserve to see celine whenever you like! if that's what you enjoy, then you go girlfran! nikki first time seeing Celine LIVE: September 10, 2008 @ Prudential CenterBEST NIGHT EVER!!
lindsey22 Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:45 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:45 AM aw no way! haha Céline likes it. It obviously means a lot to her to make someone so happy. She is really touched by her fans. It's one of the main reasons she continues to perform.i think the main reason Celine continues to perform is because the return value is vastly inproportionate to the monetary investment. in other words. Celine LOVES the MOOLA and that ladies and gentlemen is the MAIN reason she continues to perform. like it or not it's true
ladylindsey Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:49 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:49 AM (edited) oh and it's just the opposite- it's not a "fleeting moment of satisfaction". It's forever Céline has plenty of money to last her and 273864823648732 Dions until the end of time. She doesn't do it for the money, my dear. She was born to be on that stage. She lives for it. She lives for the interaction between herself and the fans. When you are going nuts in the crowd and you lock eyes with Céline, she will go NUTS as well, and that moment oh my god. My heart is racing just thinking about it. Céline needs the fans and we need her or it just wouldn't work haha. I can't even describe that moment. Reference my signature below! Bellamy Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:53 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:53 AM She is the nicest Celine fan I've ever met. I have to say some people are just being bitter to her. Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
Moee Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:58 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 03:58 AM The question is WHY spend all your money on a person who ALREADY is over-loaded with Cash; You want to see Celine, you can go see her once and have a meet and greet with her and have your dream fullfiled. I don't know how this magic of meeting someone for the 1st time can be revived when you constantly see them like 88th time FTW. Now, I don't mind and I won't judge people who do that because everyone is FREE to do as they please; however, I cannot enjoy something as big as MEETING CELINE if I can basically see her every now and then. I mean you can donate your money to the poor and needy if you don't know what the hell to do with your spare cash other than watching Celine for the 1000th time.
ladylindsey Posted May 13, 2010 at 04:08 AM Posted May 13, 2010 at 04:08 AM (edited) I look at it this way- and it's really hard to explain if you don't feel this way yourself because it really is something you ARE not something you choose- Once is never enough. You go once and you realize that's where you need to be. And every chance you get, you go. And you're happy. It's honestly like your heart has found it's home. Everyone has it, just not with Céline. My heart's home is with Céline. Your heart maybe home with....polka dancing. Or.....cooking. Or cooking with Emeril. i don't know. To each his own. It's just so hard to explain. And every time, you grow happier and you can share your happy with so many people who are also happier haha and then you get something out of it you never expected, friendship because when you have Céline in common, everything else just falls into place. And you can still donate to the poor and needy and go see Céline. Just sayin. And it doesn't mean that you are missing something in your life and you need to try to find out what it is. I am extremely happy with my life. I just get SUPER DUPER HAPPY when I'm able to see Big Mama. Céline is my happy place. Can we make that a t-shirt? Edited May 13, 2010 at 04:10 AM by ladylindsey
