It was a different selection back then. In both stores there was/is a range of items, from inexpensive $1 postcards all the way up to the jewelry and such. The quality of the items in the boutique now is very good. And we're not even gonna talk about how many times over I spent the budget I gave myself lol. I found the styles to be much more refined and posh than for AND which I loved, just simple and beautiful. I didn't see a quality problem with the merch tho, the see-thru style is sort of an 'in' style fabric in t-shirts now, ad I like them better anyway. Only problem I had was a few things were sold out of sizes, but I was able to get around it mostly, but the coasters were sold out which I really wanted. My fav shirt though is the grey one with the silver writing and the silhouette of her in the Chair, LOVE! One questions, was there a pillow that went with the blanket? Quote

The first day I was back in April again I was in the Boutique and I saw a lady walking around in one of the old Boutique Las Vegas Céline Dion sweaters. She had her arms loaded and kept going back to the checkout with items. Right before I left, she had to have a hotel trolley for baggage come to pick up all the items she had bought in the Céline boutique and wheel her out! I laughed so hard and I really wanted to talk to her! But she was gone! I knew she had to be a big fan! You should have seen it! It looked like Céline rolling out of the Ritz with all her bags everywhere! So cute! There were hanging bags and lots of bags piled up on the bottom- a fan's dream, eh? It made me smile! Quote

As it stands right now, the items being sold are pretty cheap, mediocre and lousy. What's worse is they've brought back items that were for sale as part of the "A New Day..." store (music boxes, wristbands, etc.). I'm not sure if there are licensing issues to work through, but I'm VERY surprised we haven't seen any James Bond-like items for sale. Why not sell a clear, rubber, bounce ball with the image of R.C. inside representing the chair he's seen sitting in during the video interlude? How about some picture frames with images of moments of Celine's career as are shown during "Where Does My Heart Beat Now"? The problem I have with the store right now is it's very generic in regards to what items it houses for sale. There aren't many items that specifically relate to the show "Celine." A lot of what is being sold right now are items I could have specially created at my local Walgreens (cheap picture frame) or FedEx-Kinko's (many of the t-shirts). It's a pain carrying it on and I refuse to check it cause I know they will get damaged. One of my dreams last night was that I was at the Celine store and all the merch was different.
