Claudette Posted April 18, 2010 at 08:22 AM Posted April 18, 2010 at 08:22 AM (edited) It says: ''At the bottem of an abyss''. That does not sound good, does it? I guess someone will have to get the magazine so that we can figure out if it is just a repeat of old news or if it is new. Jacqui Posted April 18, 2010 at 09:02 AM Posted April 18, 2010 at 09:02 AM Ugh. How would they know? They seem to just repeat the same crap over and over, Rene is mean to Celine, Celine is depressed etc etc etc. I really wish tabloids would just die. But I also wonder what it says and I do hope she's ok. Quote
fan2celinedion Posted April 18, 2010 at 09:09 AM Posted April 18, 2010 at 09:09 AM Oh Come on, tabloïds have nothing to write aboute her so they always write that she is dispeared just because her ifv didn't work Quote
Claudette Posted April 18, 2010 at 09:31 AM Posted April 18, 2010 at 09:31 AM Well it is not like they are entirely not telling the truth. I mean nobody has seen or heard anything from Celine for more than a month now. Quote http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg

alithia Posted April 18, 2010 at 12:51 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 12:51 PM The article is rather insensitive and the way it's written is kind of rude...And the whole thing with her age and that in her age every day is important, well Celine isn't old..It's kind of stupid to think that a woman at 42 is considered too old..And generally I don't like it when "journalists" write such insensitive stuff and actually exaggerating just to get a good story when a person is going through bad times and difficulties Quote Ice for Two , and ice dancing community dedicated to Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir

celine_1983 Posted April 18, 2010 at 02:56 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 02:56 PM Hey all, For those wanting to know what this article says I made a translation for you. We shouldn't believe everything we read in the tabloids folks! PS My French is rusty so might not be word perfect. Nic xx Céline Dion - Down in the dumps For the last month, no news from the star.... Céline Dion doesn't leave her house in Miami where she tries to overcome the failure of her inseminations, a physically and mentally wearing battle. She celebrated her 42 birthday on 30 March. And nothing. Silence. And if the singer, always so generous with her public hasn't made the smallest declaration, or thank you to her fans for their (best wishes), it's because things are not going well for her. Her life, despite all her successes and in spite of selling 200 million albums, is the not the highest dream of the 'little girl from Charlemagne'. Youngest of fourteen children, the star only imagines of the happiness of having a large family. It's been a year in March since she put her fabulous career on hold for 18 months. The time that she thinks is necessary for conceiving a baby by IVF. But with one IVF after another over several months, and after a false pregnancy in August, Céline is not falling pregnant. Her older sister Claudette explained to us that this second child is far from being a flight of fancy - "Céline was born to be a mother. Even when she was very little we knew she had the maternal 'gene'. When my daughter was born, Céline showed so much tenderness. She wanted to spend so much time with her nephews and nieces, and in (the way she was with them), she was already very gifted. She carried a baby as though she had done all her life."On 25th March, leaving the Ritz-Carlton in New York, the diva made her last appearance. Looking tense (stressed), hair tied back, dark sunglasses she withdrew to her car, heading to the hospital. Over (in NYC), she underwent her 5th insemination, surely the last. Often she bursts into tears for no reason. Yes the hormone injections are (making her emotional) but her sense of emptiness, of being barren is so intense... Eventually, Céline is going to have to get back to work. Already she is choosing songs for her next French album, expected to be released at the end of 2010, early 2011. Then she'll have to rehearse, seeing as she is returning to the stage at the Colosseum at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas in less than a year from now on 15 March 2011. Her husband and manager René has it reserved for 3 years. Returning to sing, to do the show, to smile. But how will she survive in the lights of the show when the light in her heart has gone out.....? Quote
Claudette Posted April 18, 2010 at 03:05 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 03:05 PM (edited) Thanks for the translation! I'm not sure what to make of this article... Edit: They don't have all the facts right either: Celine went through the sixth round of IVF in March. I really really hope that when Celine says that she is fine and that if it doesn' happen she would be ok with it, that it is the truth and that she is not just saying that. Reading this breaks my heart, so I hope that this magazine is just another tabloid blowing things out of proportion... She's going thruogh so much and it makes me so mad that they are blowing it up just to get a good story! And especially the last sentence: But how will she survive in the lights of the show when the light in her heart has gone out.....? That's way I always say that I really hope she won't perform in Vegas, I mean I would really love to see her live some day, I really would, but I don't give a damn about that if she's not happy. I would not stand to see her perform in vegas for 3 years and knowing that she would much rather doing something else  It would break my heart even more! God bless you Celine! :innocent: Quote
Claudette Posted April 18, 2010 at 05:55 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 05:55 PM I just wish we can get some real news from a reliable source for a change. All these stuff in the tabloids and on the internet are just freaking everyone out. What even worries me more is: why did she not phone in on that shopping channel thing after it was reported that she would? Quote http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
celine_1983 Posted April 18, 2010 at 06:02 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 06:02 PM Seems like this article is just a jumble of stuff from different places with a bit of poetic licence thrown in for good measure. But I hope Céline is ok and we can have some good news soon! Quote
kerche Posted April 18, 2010 at 06:25 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 06:25 PM I have a feeling if she were to be pregnant, she'll be laying low for 3 months until that first trimester is over before she'll announce anything. But anyway, I'm not too, too concerned about her. She has great support all around & she's such a strong woman. It really is unfortunate for her situtation that it's taken such a toll on her... Jacqui Posted April 18, 2010 at 10:16 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 10:16 PM I just wish we can get some real news from a reliable source for a change. All these stuff in the tabloids and on the internet are just freaking everyone out. What even worries me more is: why did she not phone in on that shopping channel thing after it was reported that she would? Would it be possible for someone to e-mail her publicist and ask about that? It's really weird that there wasn't even an explanation. I'd do it, but I don't have any contact details. It doesn't sound like whoever wrote the article knows anything more than we do. They didn't even get the details right. If she has given up on IVF, I'm sure that would be difficult for her, as it is for thousands of other women who go through the same thing. But like she said, she has a good life, she has RC. It's not like she has nothing. And if she didn't want to do Vegas, she wouldn't have signed the contract, I'm sure. Quote
Claudette Posted April 18, 2010 at 10:45 PM Posted April 18, 2010 at 10:45 PM (edited) I only have Celine's publicist here in SA's number. But I would never phone her about something like this. I feel to bad to bother her. She was very nice the one time I actually phoned her, but I don't want to push my luck. I doubt she would know anything anyway. But I agree that it might be a good thing for someone to contact someone in Celine's team to find out if Celine is ok. I mean, I'm sure they wouldn't mind and would understand that we are just concerned about Celine if we tell them that there are crap going around on the internet and in tabloids about Celine being depressed, sick, hiding and being in an unhappy marriage (and a bunch of other nonsense). They don't even have to say much if they don't want to. Just ''yes, she is doing fine'' would be enough.
