Get Celine's Movie and a Sony Walkman on the Home Shopping Network

April 14 , 2010

 

Tune in to the Home Shopping Network starting this Friday to purchase a brand new Sony Walkman pre-loaded with Celine: Through the Eyes of the World!! You'll see awesome clips of the movie during the broadcast and Celine will be calling in on April 17th at 5pm! The 30-minute segments will air as follows: April 16 at 2am, 7am, 3pm; April 17 at 1am, 4am, 5pm, 10pm and April 28 at 12am, 12pm, 10pm. At first you think what... Celine on a shopping chanel plugging her movie and a sony item... thats a bit cheesy and a tad desperate, but actually its quite clever promo and is a bit more personal, as shes gonna be talking about the upcoming releases etc, and normally people who purchase these items get to speak to the presenter and celeb on air also which is pretty cool. Either way I'm happy we get to see her! :)

The only thing is can we get this channel in the UK? Ive looked on Sky and teh channel is not listed.

I don't think this is embarrasing, because sony wants to sell there players.. and isn't it great that

they chose TTEOTW to be on it standard!

i'm confused, a walkman preloaded with tteotw? I thought a walkman played cds and couldnt store music. whats this mean?

Well it seems that Sony does that everywhere, here in Latin America they sometimes sell Sony-Ericsson cellphones preloaded with some artist latest album, so for me this is not a new thing it's just the way Sony is promotion their products + singers. If you ask me if I like it, well in case of Celine I do, but in case of another artist I don't care much about well no, because I don't want to buy a cellphone or walkman with music I don't care about.
