But Céline needs another album like A New Day Has Come. But probably less ballads and more uptempo, updated music and styles. 60% of pop/dance/uptempo and 40% of ballads. If she keeps directing her career to the ballads, it will be a flop again.

I agree, Celine needs an album like ANDHC, a dance album, with more modern sounds good and she would fall back to the top, it needs to reinvent itself to sing new sounds.

the way i think of celine and on teh charts is:

 

celine is bigger and better than anything on teh charts and she is above the top sitting above them all lol she is the best

its kinda hard to pick cuz shes so good and succesful in all of them

i picked jazz cuz something new and her voice would be really interesting to hear in that kinda music

Couldn't agree more. Get the best dance and ballad producers (I looove the David Guetta rumor) and there you go. Just take your time, there's no rush! Seriously, take all the time you need, WAIT FOR THE BEST SONGS, and we'll come.

 

I remember the time when there was a formula for her albums: Movie theme, handfull of covers, spanish song, couple of upbeat numbers, one or two english versions of french hits, and tons of love songs. I miss those days, but I suspect they might be gone for good.

 

They need to get a song or two by whoever wrote Leona Lewis' "Bleedin' love" and Beyonce's "Halo"... Then add some Linda Perry here, some Kara Dioguardi there, and the rest all David Guetta (HA!)... I'm sold!

I AGree with uptempo but the ballads are great too just not like "A song for you" or "A World to believe in"

something in the style of TAKING CHANCES... a bit of everything... 1 or 2 powerful ballads (like I surrender!!), some pop (im alive)... some more dance (Sorry for love!!)... some rock ( cant fight the feelin') etc...

 

but they simply have to do the right choices in what concerns the SINGLES... taking chances, alone and eyes on me were the worst choices to promote her last album...

Michael Buble--we know David Foster can hook this one up

 

Canadian Tenors--with a choir, again David can make magic with this

 

Sanatana--he's verbally expressed his desire to record a duet with her.

Celine is best known for Ballads!! but it would be awesome if she sang songs like lady gaga's and beyonce then she would deffo be in the charts because people now days love that style!!

Eyes on me, agreed. Alone, maybe. Taking chances? Best first single option, no doubt about that in my mind.
