I just want to know if she actually went or decided not to go. Oh and the owner of celebrity city said he'd been looking for new photo's of Celine everyday for me but so far hasn't found anything new Other than that set from the 24th that I couldn't get in HQ there haven't been any new photo's of her.

Smooth jazz saxophonist Mindi Abair tonight (April 8) will be featured in a TV concert taping at the Hollywood Palladium for a tribute to Diane Warren, the acclaimed and pop singer and songwriter. The show, Diane Warren: Love Songs, is being taped to air June 6 on PBS.

 

Abair, who will be introduced by singing and movie star Cher, will perform a medley of Warren’s movie hits accompanied by an orchestra. She’ll play “Because You Loved Me,” “I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing,” “There You’ll Be” (the theme from Pearl Harbor), “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” (the theme from Coyote Ugly) and “How Do I Live.”

 

In addition to Abair, the show includes performances by Toni Braxton, whose hit “Unbreak My Heart” was written by Warren, as well as Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Fantasia, Eric Benet and LeAnn Rimes.

 

Abair’s new CD, In High Fi Stereo, will be released on May 18. It features the smooth jazz hit “Be Beautiful.”

No, Cher will introduce Abair who will sing ''Because You Loved Me''. And I think somebody has their facts wrong. It is clear that Celine was not there. We would have received some pictures or something by now if she was really there.

No, I think you're wrong too. Abair is the saxophone player who is "playing" BYLM. Not singing, but playing. Someone will probably be singing it too.

I think Tyler is right, I think Celine wasn't there. I don't think she went, we haven't heard zip about her being there and we have zero photo's. I'm also starting to wonder if she if was even asked to be a part of it. I don't know if Celine will be part of this special but if she had been there she would have probably sung two songs, one famous, one more obscure album cut. Gloria Estefan performed Reach and another album cut from her 1996 Destiny CD called Show Me The Way Back To Your Heart, a fan favorite.

June 8, 2010 will mark the release of 'Due Voci' and the DVD 'Diane Warren: Love Songs'. On these releases, performers Kelly Levesque and Tyler Hamilton cover the all-time hits written by Warren.
