He said Celine is in Florida at home.

 

the show: Le grand Journal, and the small video is "LE PETIT JOURNAL PEOPLE"

Since 6 years they talk about céline, her fans... but not seriously, with joke.

And the french staff of Céline didn't want she goes to "LE GRAND JOURNAL" and they do this today to ask René "When Céline come's here?"

 

his answer with joke was: "You will talk about céline 6 years again, and after she will come..."

I don't know why she has to go there?! They always slap her in the face with jokes that are ridiculous and they always make fun of her in a way that is really disrespectful and that hurts a person deeply.

 

I say F*ck them and Celine can go to 10 other shows in France to do her promo there and she doesn't even need them to get her message out there or to sell CDs.

 

She can go to Star Academy/Vivement Dimanche or she can do her own TV Special on TF1 and short interviews on TF1 news and FR2 news as well.

 

BTW, they want her so bad in order to get good TV ratings... that's all.

For six years this #sshold is been laughing at Céline big time. He's laughing at her hard and in a very rude and low life way(not with her) and he's laughing at her fans too. I appreciate humour a lot when it's good and creative but not this guy and what he's doing. It's easy and in very bad taste particularly toward Céline. He's been filming Céline's foot for years because Céline and Céline's entourage, rightly so, doesn't allow him and his team to come near her and film her. "C'est un con de la pire espèce!" who always try to find anything he can to ridiculize Céline the best he can. Glad you don't understand french, this is ridiculous and he always makes her seem like a dumb and crazy woman and everything using footage often out of context. This thing with the Diva's is starring Mireille Mathieu and Céline Dion(France's two Divas he says) After laughing at Mathieu's, this thing obviously is telling everyone Céline is also a hasbeen from another time like Mathieu. This program is not humourous imo, it's very very rude and vulgar toward Céline always. Maybe some french guys feel differently but I don't find this kind of humour worth watching and funny at all. If this is French humour, sorry I don't get it, their so called humour(sic) regarding Céline especially. The only good part here is René's answer to their ridiculous invitation to Céline, because they say they've been wanting her coming to their program for six years...Yeah sure : "Mon défi et aussi celui de Céline est que vous parliez d'elle encore six ans." (My challenge and Céline's challenge or goal is that you speak about her for another six year.) answered René. Thanks René for not letting them trap you and being wiser than those idiots in what you answered...but I don't understand what René was doing at Canal + at all.

 

As you can see, I can't stand this man like most Québecers btw. He comes to Québec sometimes and tries to make deals with one tv humorist here to have some Céline footage in exchange for their President's blunders(I hope it's the right word in english).

 

It appears they didn't even talk to René about his book or anything. Sorry René, I guess you lost precious time there. (except of course for looking as the classy manager and husband you are). What people are asked to do in this business sometimes make me so glad I do something else for a living.

 

Edit: I agree with you Moee and trust me Céline won't EVER go to this (censured word) program.

Sorry Ralph but René never ever said Céline would come, never and she won't ever go, mark my word.

Tom Cruise said nothing, it wasn't even audible. They only used an old vid of his to laugh at Céline even more(to like "make believe" Tom Cruise was asking Céline to do their stupid show).

 

There was a "serious" part at "Le Grand Journal" before the ridiculous part. It was very short, there was no good or real questions for René really. They showed a tape of René when he was in the Baronets in the 60's. There was even a guy on the set that said he didn't know who Céline was. Everyone laughed at him, saying he must be the only one on the planet who doesn't know who she is. Yeah for sure he must be an alien or something. They talked to René about his love of gambling, kind of moralizing him for being a gambler and about going back to Vegas. Céline works and you go gamble all the money? Since you're going back, are you still going to go gamble they said(giving him kind of the evil eye or something) They talked about Céline's mother that didn't appreciate finding out about her daughter being in love with an older man. Geez, I know it's his bio but they've been married for 15 years and they're still stuck on this part of their lives. The only interesting part again here was René's answer(the only few words he could say because they stated things without asking him nothing). René confirmed that it took a lot of time for Maman Dion to accept their relationship and he understood her very well. But he confirmed it took until he(René) was sick the first time, for Maman to tell him she loved him when she tought he possibly could die. The interview was not very long and obviously they weren't well prepared for this interview with René, talking about old rumours and preconceived ideas about the man. And after that some will say Céline repeats herself. Obviously a lot of those media guys didn't hear anything they said over the years it seems. It seemed to me like I was listening to an interview being done 15 or 20 years ago. Boring!!!! They really should read this bio, that's for sure. But I think they missed a good occasion to give viewers a reason to buy it and know the man better. It was very superficial. I feel like they invited him to Le Grand Journal in order to have him there for this stupid "Le petit journal" and have some footage of René for weeks to come. I don't think they're are going to use any of it to laugh at him, as René didn't give this Yann guy anything he could really make fun of. Except maybe thier part....

There's a fine line between mocking a celebrity's performance and his action and mocking him just to be hurtful. Their kind of "COMEDY" is just hurtful and they go beyond the limits of the humour by mocking her life, her son, her husband; they don't have ANY moral boundaries.

 

Don't get me wrong I like comedy and there are plenty of shows that mock Celine and that does make me laugh; however, this show just make me stare and say WTF is wrong with them That's ONLY mean and does not make me smile at all.
