I thought that if 5th attempt didn't work, it was over for her.

So why being in NY?

 

- to control if the begining pregnancy is doing well

- to see if the 5th attempt worked

- to try another time

Yes, invitro works in cycles (not going into the details). Go bact to the other topics when Celine was in New York, you'll see that she was there every time between the 12th and 17th of the month.

 

It could be a check-up, who knows...

 

Edit: Titom, by now she already knows whether or not she is pregnant. They can determine 10-13 days after the transfer whether it worked or not.

She´s definetly not in NYC for some shopping! she has done a lot of that lately

She could be there for a check up

She could be there to meet someone about the Las Vegas show (uhm they should come to her) but then Réné should be there

oh and if I analyze the pic, notice how she is holding her stomach with her right hand

Maybe with holding her hand on her stomach she is giving us all hint that she is pregnant without saying anything

, but I'm even wondering about the check-up thing, because if the pregnancy test is positive, doctors don't usually do the first ultrasound and stuff after 4-5 weeks. They just keep on monitoring it with blood tests. Why would she go to New York for that... I'm thinking she is probably there for something that has nothing to do with the IVF, but I guess only time will tell.

 

Edit: Unless she is in New York to prepare for the sixth attempt or something... Doesn't it usually involve some monitoring before they do the transfer? I guess if she is there next week too, we'll know...

I guess she's either there for a check-up or the 5th try worked! I really hope so! It's much too early to try for another one because I think it takes at least a month to prepare your body. I figured this out because Celine has tried: January 2009, August 2009, October 2009, December 2009, and February 2010. So basically every other month. Celine didn't try in January 2009. She was still on tour at that stage. I think her first try was in August 2009. If I remember correctly, she said in an article that they wanted to try sooner, but she got some tummy bug or something after the tour, so she had to give her body some time to recover first. When did she say that? I was thinking that if the 5th attempt wouldn't work, she would give up, because of the show. That was really sad, as she always said that her priority was family..

If her first try was in August, then this past one would have only been her 4th try.

After she miscarried in August, they quickly tried again in September. They also tried in October and November again and they thought at first that the one in November would be the last one, but apparently Rene decided that he wanted to try again, which was the 5th try last month.

 

Celine would never go through invitro while she is touring. That Tampa thing was just some people making their own conclusions because she rubbed her belly or something...

Could be, but I remember something about September. Didn't she say that they quickly tried in September after the miscarriage, because at that stage people thought that she was still pregnant and they thought that if she got pregnant again it wouldn't matter. She definitely did not try in January last year though.
