How can you meet Celine?

I wrote in February and they said no..... But I'm hoping they say yes this time.... I don't want to be annoying and write all the time either..:: this is my second time writing this year... But I was told to so we shall see!!

I wrote back then too and was told no. I'm so excited you finally got to meet her and I hope you get another opportunity. I feel like I've sent so many things and nothing. I'm going at the end of the month, too and this will be my first time seeing her live. Since we don't get to make too many trips I was hoping to find some way to get a meet & greet. Maybe one day. I'm so happy for you!!!

This guy broke into her house. The police found him taking a bath in her bath tub at her old Quebec home (the one she's selling/sold). I highly doubt she'll meet anyone who breaks into her house. Would you want to sit down and chat with someone who broke into your house and used your things while you weren't home? I wouldn't want to so I wouldn't expect anyone to think that's a good way to meet her.

I read a post on here earlier (I think it was in this thread?) of someone suggesting that her personal address be posted on here. No one has actually posted, thank goodness. While I realize a lot of stuff is public knowledge and readily accessible via google and anywhere on the internet, true Celine fan's wouldn't dream of breaching her privacy or security. Try to put yourselves in her shoes for a minute. If you were in the public eye, or even not in the public eye, would you want people you don't know searching you out at your home......where your children and your family are? I would go to great lengths to protect myself and my family so for Celine's sake & her family's sake, anyone with that information shouldn't post it (which if they were that type of person I doubt they'd have that info in the first place). But for the rest of us, while it's our dream to meet her, we should stay away from that type of stuff.

I agree, people need to leave her alone. I remember somebody in the forum (that guy who covers Celine's songs all the time with annoying voice and posts them) posted pics of him in front of Celine's FL. home...Come'n get a life, leave her alone!!!

I think a date and time stamp would keep repeaters away. Maybe finger printing and a good stiff wedgie on their way out.

Unfortunately, no I haven't had the opportunity. The 27th will by my first time seeing her live. Hubby surprised me with a trip for my 30th birthday. I'm excited to finally to see her live, though!!!! I can't believe it's right around the corner!

In March 2011 I went out to the bathroom just before Celine sang 'How do you keep the music playing' and to my surprise when I came out of the bathroom she was literally standing in front of me by the bar area about to go in to perform the song and walk down the aisle. It was really weird to see her so close and touchable but I just waited for her to go inside the theatre then I went in down another aisle to my seat.

well they have ignored my email, so I don't know. No fans really share how they meet Celine, its like a top secret ,They just tell the story of when they met her, never how, its really strange actually. To be honest, I think you have to know someone who knows someone in Celine's team. Or else buddy up to someone in this situation or lick some serious #ss, I cant be bothered to do that. I think Celine should hold contests though cause I actually think its really unfair having fans travel from all over the world knowing they will never get the chance to meet her and watch other people walk into the colleseum prior to the show for a meet and greet. Its probably easier getting a chance to meet her on her world tour, very hard in Vegas.......!!!!

That was me who wrote that, and i ended up meeting her , i just wrote a letter to ceasers palace , care of celine dion, saying i was huge fan, and how much i loved celine, a bit about me, my story, and that id love to meet her in vegas and when id be there....I never expected to hear back, but got a phone call an hour and a half before celines show inviting me to meet her, So I guess, that's how i met her and i wanted to share....!! Hope someone else is as lucky

I've heard that you can get a meet and greet by going early for the soundcheck?

 

I thought I remembered people saying on this forum, stories about people running into Patrick or Michael at the soundcheck and asking if they could meet Celine. I know that Celine meets with sick children through the Make A Wish Foundation and I'm sure there are also people who make donations to her foundation that meet her, but I think it all comes down to luck. Running into the right person at the right time and in the right place.

 

My advice would be to try and get in to see her soundcheck. I can't be positive on this, but I think she starts her soundcheck at around 4:00 or 4:30pm nightly. I would stand by the Colosseum doors and just weight there for someone to come in or out of the doors. Maybe you will run into Patrick, Michael or maybe even Aldo. You never know.

 

That is the only way I have heard of people getting meet and greets anyways. Good luck!
