How can you meet Celine?

I'll be traveling from far and spending a lot of money and would at least like to meet Celine

Its a shame that Meet & Greets aren't part of the VIP package or can be purchased separately.

But I know some are allowed to meet the Legend herself.

Any 'Meet and Greet' offers

or

any tips on Meeting Celine herself when I get there in April?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It would be amazing if I could meet Celine, been a fan for soooooo long, and just even to meet her for a few seconds would make my dreams come true :in_love:

I know what you mean...for me, a trip from Vienna to Las Vegas would be very expensive! :confused:

I wish there would be any chance to meet Céline! (Beside winning a M&G :glare: )

Can't believe that the best VIP ticket does not include "Meeting Céline" :blink:

I feel a bit the same as you.

I've supported her literally since I was about 5, have been to her shows in my own country and will be flying from Australia to Las Vegas to attend this show and it's my absolute DREAM to meet her. I pray theres a competition or a miracle happens *crosses fingers*

Hear, hear! Of course I would sooo love to meet & greet her in Las Vegas as well, hehe! Especially if you see the "AND" DVD and the meet & greet part, you just can't stop dreaming of being a part of such event! She was so lovely and took time for each of the fans! It was not rushed or so. Of course, there surely was a very limited amount of time, still it looks like she took a few minutes to listen what everyone had to say her, to take gifts, to take photos... Simply amazing!!

I've been to 14 shows during the tour and never got a chance to get backstage to a meet & greet, I had to look for my chance at her hotels which, personally, was a bit uncomfortable to me... I felt kinda like a stalker or something, always worried if I possibly am not disturbing her privacy...

So getting/winning an official meet & greet would be just perfect as I know this would be the time when she really looks forward to meet with fans. :wub:

Just keep hoping & praying!

And yeah, I'll be travelling all the way from Germany which is, same as for you, a looong & expansive way... So I very well feel what you feel. Keep my fingers crossed that our dreams will become true!

And that TeamCeline will bring back the monthly contest, although in my whole life, I was never ever lucky to win anything in a contest anyway, hehe...

Maybe because there are so many of us from the forum going to the show we could have our own meet and greet...what a dream come true that would be for all of us!

Like Jane said, we will be TRYING to arrange it. However, don't expect it to happen... I think hell would freeze over before we can arrange it. But we"ll do everything in our power at least trying to achieve it.

But first we have to have a correct figure of people who will be there at the meeting. Then we'll have something to work with, so let it rest and give us some months

I agree, it would be unbelievably hard to pull off, and would be asking a hell of alot.... especially around opening night, when there is so much going on for her and everyone around her.....

That's right Darren, and Celine always says if you follow your dreams then nothing can go wrong....she also said that she has to dream really big to get something smaller so if we dream really really big and work really really hard together maybe we can have a forum group meet and greet even if it's a group picture and a short chat

Yeah. They'll give it to people with medical issues or other sad stories first...

BUT....

We will be very angry with ourselves if we don't try, so that's what we're going to do.

I don't expect any meet & greet.

I don't expect it either, but we'll have to try at least... If not on the 15th, then on the 16th If there is only 0,01% chance that it can happen, we'll have to go for it... But NO PROMISES at all... We said we will try and that's what we are going to do... We'll be trying (or at least die trying :sofunny: :icon_mrgreen: )

To maximise our chances it think it would be good if:

1) The group is so big that it gets media coverage... Media = getting attention

2) It would be nice if CF² can get a decent amount of money to that date so there can be something donated for her foundation.

3) Not everyone starts to (e-)mail about this to Caesars, Sony, AEG, CDA, etc...

...

And again: DO NOT EXPECT IT TO HAPPEN! :icon_mrgreen:

I am not guaranteed to go to Vegas but am planning on saving my money to go. My family and I tried back in 2005 for a combination of my Mom and my bday but she cancelled at the last minute because of a neck injury. I don't believe we got a refund for plane tickets /show tickets either

So....that is why I will try quite hard to get to Vegas. But yes I understand what you mean about meeting Celine. To me it seems like it is quite impossible unless you are part of a foundation such as MAW, or have some type of connection to Celine or whatever. However, when seeing the movie, I don't know why the girl from Sicily got backstage. It seems to me that she didn't have a connection :unsure:

BUT if I do go, I could always make a big sign that says" Came from Cleveland to see Celine"...maybe that'll do something :clap:

Good luck... myself and 2 other somewhat "obssessed" fans (right Wendy & Julie!?!) have been trying to meet Ms. Dion for years. I'm thrilled beyond belief to even be at opening night... I can HARDLY wait! :clap:

Like we allready said... Don't expect it to happen since everyone will be disappointed if we won't succeed. (The chance to succeed is probably about 0,1%).

Even don't expect updates on this matter for months, or even maybe a year...

Like everyone said. Chances that this is going to happing are nearly nihil.

The only benefit we have compared to others are contacts. And ofcourse the size of the group is also a benefit... But for the rest we are just a crazy bunch of folks who want's to see Céline attend the meeting or say hi to her and take a picture.

But you know, Las Vegas is a city where "anything can happen" after all

I had an idea for her birthday which has not gone a miss, which i think would possibly work for a limited number of fans to see the show and a possible meet and greet,which i think would celine may notice the dedecation of her fans.

There is a very slim chance it would work,but there is one fan i did metioned this to and she said it would be a crazy great idea celine would proberly love it, i did do some inquirys and it would be fairly expensive even cotacted a large company but was turned down, but even they like the idea and the would of been able to help if there was time and avaibility but with a bit of persuasion this could be achieved.

I shall not say anymore becuase i feel, i dont want to put peoples hopes up but if you wish to take the idea off me contact me remember its an a crazy one but i think it would work.

Most of the times I've met her, is when I wasn't even expecting it. It always happens with me at "all of a sudden" times. Keep your heads up, and if you follow the right people, it'll happen.
