I forgot to ask this earlier: Did anybody else hear like a buzzing sound? You could hear it very clearly between the songs when no music was playing. We sat in ORCH 5 Row A, not sure if it was maybe worse in the middle.

Amen to that!

I must say, we're lucky to have all of these wonderful quality bootlegs. A New Day had some terrible quality bootlegs, only opening night's was the most listenable.

Joe and I deduced that it was housekeeping trying to get a head start and vacuum before the crowd left! lol

@Alex :lmao: Yeah that would explain it, I mean they had their hands full with crazy Celine fans. We basically took Vegas over... No something seriously was up with the sound from where I was sitting. Edited by Claudette

Regreting reading this topic, but anyhow, by far better than the opening night for me too. I almost wetted myself when she sang that note in ''All By Myself''. :in_love: I wanted to jump up and down in my chair, but there were a bunch of old people sitting behind us and they were not happy with me every time I stood up.

Am I the only one loving ''Man In the Mirror''? Can't believe I'm saying this because I'm not a fan of Michael, but I love Celine's version. I loved the singers sitting behind her. Very nice touch...

I'm with you Claudette - I loved "Man In The Mirror" also. It just gave me chills and the 2nd night when I was sitting in the front it brought me to tears. It was really well done!

TO: sfbaysinger - Well not all the hard core fans are here (they should be) but yes, just for US!!! We should be able to submit the songs we wanna hear and they'll pick the top ones and do it for us!!

I'm with you Claudette, Man in the mirror was my first favorite song of the show, now it changes like every day.

I recorded a bootleg of this show too, from rear orchestra. The sound is pretty good, i'll share it soon

I love how both Jimena and and CelineIsNumber1's bootlegs are so clear on the songs with alot of bass. Makes it so easy to listen to. I think mine from the 16th was a step better on the slow boring songs, but on the loud songs with a lot of bass mine just lost a lot of clearness, but yours maintained it.

It's so great to have a recording from the first 7 or so shows.

Listening to the bootleg again and ''Beauty and the Beast'' gives me goosebumps. I'm so happy they included that for a change. It will always have a special place in my heart. :throb:

Well I'm very glad you guys enjoy it :) Like Claudette said, I just think it's a great souvenir of that night...I haven't stopped playing it since I came back from Vegas lol

I think the clearness of the sound is because of the location of my seat that night, I was a few rows behind Rene. He really knows where is the best place to watch the show (rear orchestra) really because don't get me wrong I enjoyed tremendously being up front and watching Celine very close  but i didn't actually "see" the show. It's like I just saw her. But from rear orchestra you really can appreciate all the special effects, and the lights and all, and the sound is much better...well, for recording at least, since you are farther away from the speakers I think. I recorded a few songs on the 15th with the same iPod and they don't sound as clear .

Anyway I heard the buzzing too, and also after "Ben" there is a very loud noise, I think they had a problem with the sound system, you can hear it very loud and clear , it's like a pop. I was afraid for a second that they would have to interrupt and fix it, but "the show went on" :) thank goodness.

Well that's good to know that the sound & viewing from rear orch is good. On the 1st night I was in 1st mezz to the right and the seats weren't great from that angle. On March 16th I had front Orch 8th row - perfect BUT expensive and when I go back I can't be spending $250 per night - it's just too ridiculous. So I think I'll try for rear orch, near Rene. LOL :sofunny:
