To be honest, I wasn't overly excited about the set list and didn't know what to expect with the staging and effects. The best part of the show is CELINE - her voice was the best I've heard in years. I think it was partly due to the venue and the orchestra. She nailed all the notes and did it effortlessly. It was impressive. I wasn't sure about Open Arms but OMG it was amazing. She def made it her own. "Where Does my Heart Beat Now" sounded as good as it did in 1990 - it really brought me to tears. The same with The Reason. MJs Smooth Criminal on cello was awesome, very creative. The MJ tribute of 2 songs was very emotional, such a great moment in the show. I really wish she wouldn't end with MHWGO, it's kinda sad ending. I liked when she used to end AND with What A Wonderful World - it makes you feel good when leaving. The Vegas news shows, esp Fox5, was all abuzz with this show. They all loved it and said the reviews were amazing all over the world. Celine Rules - AGAIN. Secondly Celine is on FIRE!! It's been a long time since her voice has sounded this good. The show does sounds and look amazing. Ok it's not "A New Day..." but I think the whole stripped back nature of the new show compared to "A New Day..." is a good thing. There was no way they could return to Vegas with a similar show. Sadly, the set list isn't as good as it could be but it's just one of those things I've learned to accept. I agree with Darren even with 2 inclusions of "Then You Look At Me" and "That's The Way It Is" it would make the show much more "Celineified" - it does badly need more of her own songs. Her voice is on top top form though, I am very very impressed with "Where Does My Heart Beat Now", it sounds amazing! I stink stink stink at computers...I think in addition to missing the hsow, the one thing I am sooooooo bummed about is meeting you all...you all know each other and I do not..I feel so, left out but that's not anyone's fault..it's kinda feeling clicky but it's not...I just did not get to go that's all...but no one here knows me and I do not know any of you and it's easy to feel like an outsider...I would have loved the fan meeting so much..to be in a room with hundreds, if not thousands of fans who love her as much as I do...I can't imagine hearing her in a room with thousands of other people who love her as I do...before I discovered CDF, I thought there was no one like me, not that I ever thought I was the only one who loves her...I wish I'd gotten to meet you all. As for the non known song The Greatest Reward would be nice too. I don't want to complain nor to put pressure. But they should at least replace 2/3 covers (Wonder's duet too, it's quite insignificant) and add her songs and it would be even more than enough.
