MTV will air the International USA telethon, not the Canadian one. Celine won't be part of the MTV Worldwide telethon.

I just really hope one of you very kind people with recording equipment will record whatever they show with her - live, pre-recorded or whatever - because I just worked for most of the day and most of the night and I just don't have the power to stay up till 3 AM to watch this...

 

Celine always gives a lot of money for things like this and many times we don't hear about it until much later, so I don't think it's fair to criticize her for not being there in person. She always gives her support in any way she can and without showing off, unlike many celebrities that only do it because it draws attention on their own persona...

she will be appearing on the canadian fundraiser show so there is a chance she will fly down to new york from toronto

From everything I have read up to now I understand that Céline will deliver a french message on Québec's two hour and a half one airing from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. called (Ensemble pour Haîti) on TVA(and every other francophone channel in Qc, all united in this TV event). She will also appear and deliver an english message for the english one in Canada's one broadcast(from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) called "Canada for Haïti" just before the US one is broadcast(also on english canadian TV). She will probably ask everyone to donate and be generous and we already know she will donate money herself of course.

As for U.S(and the world) also at 8:00 p.m., maybe they'll have the message also(who knows?) considering the fact that no one outside Canada will be able to see it and hear from her on TV outside our country(either in french or english tonight).

 

Let's hope that's how it going to be. If her message is not broadcast in US tonight, everyone will hear about it I guess anyways in the coming days and she'll be on the Special tribute for MJ on Grammy night one week from today for all the world to witness. Just can't wait for this!!

So everyone of us we'll be able to see Céline again one way or another. And for sure, it was predictable that she would, at least, do a donation, make some kind of apperance for this considering how generous she always is.

 

On a side note, there is a very big Haîtian community in Québec(especially in Montréal) and some of them are even well known in the artistic scene over here. Like everyone in the world, we're all very moved and disturbed by this.

 

Finally let's hope our girl is also taking good care of herself these days, having probably gone through another IVF attempt not long ago.

Maybe she will, that would be awesome of course . I know she won't on the french one, it's been very clear from the start here. I'm listening to "Canada for Haîti" right now also on CTV and I'm very excited also Lindsey22. But I think it'll be very emotional events also...

Today, I read in the newspaper Le Soleil and i quote: "Céline Dion chantera au concert Canada for Haiti diffusé ce soir." "Celine will sing at Canada for Haiti concert tonight."

So i guess it wont just be a msg of hope, but a song too!!!!!

That's why I think Céline will only do a message and not be sininging here tonight. Either way I think she will appear at the very end of this though.
