Frida Posted December 22, 2009 at 10:17 PM Posted December 22, 2009 at 10:17 PM Just saw this on both mtv.se and aftonbladet.se, isn't it cool? Queen Celine is number oooone on the list The articles don't mention anything exciting, but I didn't know this: Andreas Carlsson wrote it for his son William/about his experience of recently having become a father. Edwin Posted December 22, 2009 at 10:36 PM Posted December 22, 2009 at 10:36 PM I have no clue Matthew. You listen to a song once or twice, and you get a reputation... I stay true to the lyrics. And Made me a woman on clouds above is one of my favorite lines from it. Quote

Frida Posted December 23, 2009 at 10:48 PM Author Posted December 23, 2009 at 10:48 PM Found some fun information that I think some would like to know, he mentions JJG! A rough translation of something Anders writes in his book Live To Win "Kristian Lundin and I had fought to be a part of Céline's coming album, and we had a total of three songs that both Céline and the people around her liked. The strongest/most emotional of those I had written directly to my son William about the experience of just having become a dad. This also suited Céline perfectly seeing as she had just become a proud mom of a little son. The musical inspiration for the song came from Jean-Jacques Goldman who was Celine's secret weapon for the French-language albums that sounded completely different from the English ones. They had another warmth and the songs were more liberating and uncomplicated. Jean-Jacques had a way of writing songs that sometimes made the entire song sound like a chorus. [This next part is too "Swedish" to translate, you wouldn't know about the place I'm talking about, but it's a positive comment LOL]. Strongly influenced by Jean-Jacques Goldman we attempted to translate his recipe for Céline into English. The idea for the songs was built up like a mantra where the verse was repeated like a chorus and then end with the title."
