I called the two big local bookstores here that sell magazine's and Empire Books only has the UK edition and Borders just has regular Hello they said, so I assume they only have the UK because I asked twice, I was like so you don't have Hello Canada, and they said no they do not. Ugh. Last time I called Borders to see if they even carried Hello magazine they said no, so apparently they do now? IDK. Oh well I guess I can wait till Celine actually does an interview. I just hope she does one with People as well so the US fans can actually have a chance at getting the magazine. My other best friend Brit has friends all over the world and just happens to have a few who live in Canada and she said her friend Sarah that lives there could probably bring me a copy, so she would ask if she could, I hope her friend Sarah can get the magazine. Since Hello is just weekly how long will this one be on selves? Till next thursday? If her friend can get it she's going to bring it when she visits in September I believe. I really hope her friend does get it before its no longer on selves. I told her please tell her friend how big a fan of Celine I am and I am dying to get the first magazine with the first article about the prengnacy. Though there aren't any quotes from Celine herself really I still want this. I mean it won't be the end of the world if her friend can't get it but I will be really sad. I can always get the first US magazine that gets the first interview with Celine. Which I hope she does an interview with an US magazine so fans here can get it as well. I can always pick up a few copies for people who can't get this magazine, but of course - you'll need to pay for the magazine & shipping.

 

The magazine is $3.99 but after tax, it'll be around $4.54. Airmail shipping is the most expensive, almost $16 , while ground shipment is only around $8-9 (takes 4-6 weeks for delivery) and a bubble envelope to keep the magazine safe is about an extra $3.

 

I know these numbers because I recently shipped a Hello Canada magazine to a friend in England, so I'm looking off my receipt.

 

So for those who can really afford it & really really want it, the total is around $24 to ship Airmail and $17 to ship on ground/boat.

Maybe my pricing might be a bit more expensive because I live out on the West Coast as opposed to someone who lives on the East (Toronto, Montreal).... but I am just guessing. I have sent a magazine to New York as well & it was around that price of $12-16 for shipment.

 

Please PM if you are interested! Otherwise, I guess you'll have to wait until People Magazine or another publication would publish a front page story of Celine.

Just to add to your post...I don't think it's more expensive to ship from out west...I think it might have to do with the dimensions/weight of the package. Once the envelope exceeds a certain dimension (about 15 x 10.5 inches) or weight (500 grams), the price shoots up because it's no longer considered a letter, but a parcel. If you can keep it under that, shipping is about $7 to the US and $14 international for airmail. I sent one out today (paper envelope with cardboard inside to protect it), and I can confirm the above shipping.

 

But anyway, looks like there's plenty of us fans up in Canada that are happy to mail these out for you, so just ask!

Actually my friend Brit just texted me, her friend Sarah is going to get me a copy and can get the one with Celine. I made sure it was the Celine one and Brit is going to pay Sarah for it, so I don't have to. Brit Brit said it was a gift to go along with my birthday present, sadly I won't get the magazine till September 20th or so when Brit gets back from AZ she's going to a video game convention with friends and that's where she is meeting Sarah at to get the magazine. I just hope by the time I get it, it's not all crumpled up. I'm just happy I'm able to get the magazine.
