I honestly don't know where to place my finger on the song. It's good, I'll admit. But I don't know if it will be a massive hit. One thing is for sure. It can't be compared to MHWGO. Heck, hardly any song can be compared to MHWGO.

i still think Celine Dion will carry this song well compare to Leona Lewis, Celine have more power and emotion to interpret this song, jst like 'then You look At Me' from Bicentennial Man....especially the climax part ever more, Leona lack of power but if Celine this could be very dominant and she can definitely conquer the world

i still haven't bought Echo. i'm still gathering my thoughts on some of the songs on it. not a bad album all-in-all. but pretty weak compared to Spirit.

I became a big fan of Leona Lewis at the start of this month after knowing she was going to sing the Theme song from Avatar and listening to Echo. So, here's the official MV of I See You:

:xmas_ohmy: REALLY??? :hmm: Honestly i like her second albm much better; i felt its more lively than the first one. i liked the first albm very much; but after listening to it a couple of times i got bored to tears i actually regretted buying it!! i personally feel that the only good thing bout the first albm is "Bleeding Love". the rest of them i dont even remember what they were; a lot of songs were like, sleep inducing...

Leona couldve repeated her success had they not released that first single, Happy-crappy-remake-of-'Halo' :hammercomp:!!!! i hardly saw any proper promotion either. she did like what, one DWTS performance & an appearance at AMAs ??

i hope they release "I Got You", "Can't Breathe" & "Naked" :wub2: those are awesome

IGY is her second worldwide single, well in fact it's playing on USA radios already.

And I'm amazed 'cos that's my fovuorite song on the album! It brings to the listener a happiness-feeling... :in_love:

btw, she performed IGY on Letterman the other day:

I love 'Echo' although I do think some very good songs were left off (like Pulse).

 

My favorite songs on the album: Outta my head and Stop crying your heart out.

i like "I See You"; but yeah, i dont play it very often either. But then again it wouldnt be cool if it was a MHWGO part 2; right?

i still think the song a breath of fresh air if u compare it to th crap on the radio these days.

a friend of mine said to me, when we left Avatar, liked this movie so much..but did not like the TITANIC music! And I understand him, James Horner has made a comparable soundtrack. I like the I see You song very much but I am really convinced Celine would have made it a huge hit again! I like Leona but I think Celine is much more powerful in her voice.. Leona sounds more Mariah to me, but she sings much better than her, and she also has a twist of the sound of Christina Aquilera. This really would have been a huge hit for Celine I think!

I am surprised that there arent many of Avatar maniacs like me :-D

I cant even imagine how James Cameron could feel to beat his Titanic with Avatar. He is such a genius for me. Well Avatar isnt that deep and sentimental as Titanic was, but it is very closely to it.

 

I saw Avatar 4 times and i ll go again wuaaaaaaa :whee:

btw after this weekend Titanic will sink again :bye1: :cry:

did anyone watch her performance of "i got u" at So You Think You Can Dance - UK?? she looked STUNNING!! now why dont she stick with this look? it suits her!! ...and she sang very well too

I really love Leona she is my favorit new singer-diva beside Celine and Mariah.

Leona has a wide vocal range of 5 Octave's i believe or maybe she has 4 octaves.

But that isn't the point she can SING and i loved her on X-Factor back in 2006 she was the greatest contestant by a mile.

I love Leona's new album Echo it sounds a bit Mariah cause of her falsetto notes and whistles and she sadly over uses them

like MC does instead of singin the melody like Celine does that is why no one can beat Celine's high belting 5 Octave chestnotes

("All By Myself") Leona failed a bit with ABM cause she switched into falsetto were the "F5" comes in.

 

But Leona is one of the greatest vocalist today definely she is. :wub:

Leona only switched to falsetto AFTER the Eb5 in ABM, not during....There was a full 10 seconds at Eb5, then she took a breath and did falsetto. It was a neat change I thought..

Shure she did' she did the song a justice by making it her own.

That's why she is so great not trying to sound to much like Whitney-Mariah but does

them both better as a live performer.

Just discovered her Echo album.....first I found the songs pretty much the same, but there are some good songs on there. :)

Btw, if I didn't know it was her singing, I could've sworn LeAnn Rimes is singing 'Alive'!
