angelil78 Posted June 25, 2009 at 10:56 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 10:56 PM I also want to congratulate everybody for behaving with such integrity in these moments of sad and shocking news. The forum was paralyzed and everyone has been here waiting for more information on the news. True, Michael Jackson was a fan of Celine's and viceversa, and regardless of the fact that we were fans of his music or not, there has been respect during this terrible time, and that is awesome. Agree! let´s keep it that way. It´s allready on Wikipedia that he died today Quote

ladylindsey Posted June 25, 2009 at 10:59 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 10:59 PM (edited) It has been confirmed he has died in the USA on CNN and all the other major news sources. What an incredibly sad day! He was such a legend, a genius, an AMAZING dancer and what a performer! He got bad press for his personal life, but I remember the old MJ, back in the Thriller days and following, what an amazing force he was Sad for those who hoped to see his comeback tour, I heard he was hoping to comeback bigger and better and I'm sure it would have been amazing. I feel the need to go moonwalk right now. So very sad, I grew up dancing to Michael and Janet. Edited June 25, 2009 at 11:03 PM by ladylindsey Quote
Bralo20 Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:00 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:00 PM (edited) Bad day for music... Today here in Belgium the famous female singer "Yasmine" died at age 37, Yasmine became famous in Belgium during the 90 when she worked for several TV stations. She was also a highly appreciated singer and became the first famous lesbian couple that married a couple of years ago. A couple of months ago, she and her partner, Marriane, broke up and unfortunately Yasmine, who presented also on national television, decided today that it was time to step out of life... It seemed that she couldn't get over the loss of her partner. Her death shocked whole Belgium. One Belgian music icon died today and also a very big international music icon died... It's a sad day for musicfans in Belgium and all over the world Edited June 25, 2009 at 11:01 PM by Bralo20 Quote ...
Belle Céline Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:00 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:00 PM I don't see Celine doing a "tribute" to him, she might make a statement like she did with Danny Gans. Quote “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png

It's a sad day for musicfans in Belgium and all over the world I know, I was looking on the news site to find some more information about Michael when I came across the news of Yasmine. I hadn't heard about it before. That was such a shock.. We knew she had trouble coping with the divorce, but to take this step... no one saw that coming... A sad day for music indeed... Even non-fans know he deserves respect for his impact on the music scene and we lost an important musical icon. Or "will lose".. as CNN still hasn't confirmed yet Edited June 25, 2009 at 11:11 PM by CelineRules! Quote
