I also wonder what went wrong or what happened in Munchen, so that she felt that way.

The only thing I know that went wrong in Munich was the playback stopping during IACBTMN, maybe this upset her? We know she is a perfectionist. A friend of mine was telling me that it says in the book that Celine was only happy with 4 or 5 performances of "A New Day" out of all 700+ so I can imagine how something like that happening would be a big deal for her.

Yeah yeah....I was there...The playback stοpped and at that moment a thunderous sound broke our ears!!!Also Celine's!!!I saw at her face an expression of pain,and automatically she closed(or touched) her ear(s).Was terrible!!!But she continued to sing for some seconds after,untill the problem was fixed .Personally i think that it was a mess...Im sure that it was playback!

That video is only half the song so it must have been before that bit, I can't remember the exact part. Maybe someone who went can tell us.

 

Fan review from the Munich topic in the tour section:

 

My heart was beating as hell when the playback during "It's All Coming Back To Me" now stopped and the big LED screen switched off for a couple of seconds She was sooo lucky that she did the right thing by continuing to lip... if she had stopped for only some seconds it would have been a mess when the playback started again!! But she was soooo nervous and shocked after this and always looked to the sound engineer.. you could really see that she was breathing really fast because of her nervosity that it could happen again during "To Love You More"

Anyway, that might not even be the reason Celine was upset in Munich. There could have been a million reasons.

That was far worse than Munich as it wasn't a short pause in the playback where it could just be dismissed as a microphone problem, as in Vienna the playback for IDAN never started, and once she realised this she had to sing live. However she sounded terrible. Luckily the playback started again from the chorus...

Well Munich came first so maybe being the first time it happened she was particularly pissed off? Especially since it seems like whatever went wrong sent a thunderous noise straight into her ears that caused her visible pain. It sounds like it was pretty bad! But we're all just guessing, it could have been absolutely anything not even related to the show.

God I didnt know about Munich play back mess up!! I thought that only happened in Vienna.... Anyway, I was thinking of the total stress Celine must have been under that night while it happened and after it happened!! I could not even imagine, poor Celine. Its all on her shoulders at end of day, if sound technician or whoever messes up, well its Celine's back that suffers the consequences, its her mess.

So imagine every night when she goes out on to stage she has to worry about this happening, like "her heart must be in her mouth" wouldnt even fit the fear she would feel, its unimaginable.....Thousands of fans , the whole world watching, if she messes up e.g. getting caught with playback etc, that is serious for Celine, she must of been so pissed off after that concert....and I wouldnt blame her.

I know, (that is very true too!!) :)but obviously that isnt a realistic option for Celine or she wouldnt be doing it, I feel sorry for her sometimes because of the stress doing it brings, I do think my job is stressful sometimes, but I think id have a heart attack if something like that happened to me on stage, and fair play to her for even carrying on with the show afterward. I know she did alot of shows in Germany in a close space of time, and probably couldnt realistcly do live for every performance ,every night..so this was only option for Celine....Anyway yes we better not go down that road......

I found this video of Celine singing ''My Love'' in Munich. The audio is very bad. But it shows the end of the song. At one stage it looks like Celine is sitting with her head in her hands crying. And it sounds like the people are shouting for her to get up. But I'm not sure because the sound is bad and the person that recorded it was moving the camera around to much at the end... Maybe Celine just had a bad day or something

And it sounds like the people are shouting for her to get up. But I'm not sure because the sound is bad and the person that recorded it was moving the camera around to much at the end... Oh!This video was taken by ME!!!hehehe...Yeah the audio and generally the video is awful!I agree .Ayway,Celine didn't cry at all there,she just only touched her eyes.Maybe a little tear ''was irritating her'',but she didn't look like she wanted to cry.The audience was only shouting 'i love you' ,'je t'aime' etc,or they were making sounds because of their excitement.You can see her smiling after a few seconds and saying Danke to the audience However...she looks very sad when she sings My Love at every concer
