Re-reading the interview, some of the stuff Celine says doesnt seem very Celine?! Such as - her most fave material possession A: her ring not only because it's big but it means a lot to her.... hmmm I dont know! She could say this in a jokey way though! Celine can be very goofy and she does say she is jet lagged haha.

 

I've emailed the magazine (keen I know) because the thought never occured to me it could be a 'fake' interview. Intriguing! I'll let you know if they reply!

This interview doesn't seem real. I've been a fan for a looooooooong time, and I've never heard her say something even remotely like "porno star"... and I don't think she knows the word "tart" No, it's not a real interview. Funny though...

Although in the early/mid 90's, I did find Celine sometimes had a ''little'' bit of an attitude lol.

For example and I hope someone can find a clip of this.... I remember watching an interview from back then although I cant remember what show or channel it aired on, but Celine at the end during the credits they'd cut to like behind the scenes of it, and a guy either puts or takes off her mic thats attached to her top, and she gets pissed off and says something like ''don't look at my tits!'' lmao.

 

Actually I think it may have been an hour long programme on Celine, from the early/mid 90's shown on vh1... does anyone else remember this?

I do remember. It's the "Video timeline" show they used to have on VH-1. And at the end, they showed her fixing her cleavege and saying "I don't want you to see my tits" (they "beeped" the end part of "tits"). I found it so hilarious

But this interview looks so much like it's made up. We've seen this kind of stuff before: they copy the person's style of speaking and some real pieces of interviews from other magazines and make up a fake interview. On the other hand, the info is pretty good: Casablanca is one of her favourite movies, I've heard her say that in other interviews too. The stuff about her family, Rene etc, all true, the fact that she's impossible to be around in the morning... And I know I read about the "karate" thing in another interview, in Paris Match I think, but I can't remember exactly, it's too long ago.
