Frienships made through our girl Celine..

As many of us know, Celine has one of the most amazing and greatest followings of fans. But one of the most amazing aspects of her fan base is how much we all love and care for each other, not just Celine I think this is mainly because of the person Celine is - she shows us what it means to love and care for everyone no matter what! Besides that, it is truly incredible to find people who share your passions and understand the love you have for someone. :wub:

Thanks to this forum, and the one common love we all share, I know of many people who have met and made frienships that have the potential to last a lifetime. (Or as long as we can continue to follow Celine)

I wanted to open this thread and share with you a video that Amber (amberdawnCelinefan) made to share some memories that we've all made.. but i want everyone to be able to share theirs too!

All my friends are Celine's fan, I believe truly, that in this Celine's fans community, there are a real Respect in each and everyone.

I never had problem with Celine's fan, contrary to all the other person I met during my life.

So from 1999 until today I made friend with the help of Celine lol, well just say the forum. Form JP (in 2000) to Marne, Sarah, Kerry, Amber, Tracy, Jimena and so much other persons ( 2009), I've been bless in friendship with the fans.

SO I know that no matter what happen to me, now I had friends who cares of me. SO Thanks to everybody xx...

Sometimes i wish my friends were Celine's fan too...Im so dissapointed with that!Im so dissapointed with Sony Bmg...If Sony did a good work at my country it would be possible to have celine fans friends.You know how i mean it :confused: ....Sometimes i think that nobody understand me...And that makes me very angry!You are lucky that you liive at Canada.Canada is the country from where celine comes from so it's more possible to create strong friendships with people who you can share your passion!

YEah I understand soo much what you live. I was like that before I met everyone

YEah I have good friendship in Quebec, but so many more outside, and that's hard, because I can't see them.

But I know they're always there for me anyway, No matter the distant.

Even in Quebec, if I had some friend, I don't see them as often as I wish, but I appreciate all the moment that I spend with them.

But I have such a hard time at school, like the girl whose with me in my course pretends to know me, but that's nothing, and they gave me pretty hard time, so that's why I spend all my time here on forum, or facebook. Just to talk with some people that understand me.

I wish you some good friendship in Greece. !!! I'm sure you're not alone, there's other Celine's fan.

Most of my friends dont understand anything about why i like Celine and everything but im very fortunate to have a close friend who loves her as much as i do (angela

) and pretty much since ive became a member of the forum ive made good friends with Kate :wink:

although we both live in the UK we're still hundreds of miles away from each other so i love when we can talk on messenger or here or text message each other, its great & its good to have someone who understands

This is such a great topic..because it SO TRUE! I am so thankful to have a forum full of people who understand what this "celine thing" is all about. I was never more touched than when I saw our wonderful forum group on the Omaha news and heard Ramona say that all over the world we are never strangers because of Celine!! I haven't got to meet very many of you in person, but I feel close to you all because we share the bond of Celine.

This is so cool to read all this. Indeed IT IS TRUE!

I feel exactly the same! At first, I didn't know where to go with my Céline things.. Nobody was interested!

Among my friends here, no-one is a Céline-fan. So for me this forum, were you can meet so many wonderful new people, was/is amazing!Through Céline I've met extraordinary people.. They mean so much to me and I can't wait till the day that we can all meet together!

I don't know if anyone has problems with this.. but my parents, they don't understand my Céline obsession.. not really.

They also don't understand why 'I need new friends', as they say it. 'I've so many nice friends here', they think it's a waste of time !

For me my Céline-friends are really special. You share something with them you can't share with anyone else. Even my best friend can't replace my Céline-friends!

Anyway:

I can't wait till the day we all meet in Vegas. Believe me: I'll be there! :wub:

Ya, me too, with my parents it's a bit weird. My mom, is more ok I understand, but my dad oups...

But Now, I don't have to fight anymore, because I do all my "Celine's thing" alone, when I'm sure they can't hear it, or see it. I've stop talking about Celine, when they're in.

The last time I talked to them about Celine, I was so desapointed, so now, it's clear that it was the last time.

I said to them that I hug Celine, (Remember, I was listening Celine like every single day from about 5 years, after I stop a little bit, but It's been ten years that I'm a fan, so they had to like endure it. So they know that I was crazy about her) and their reaction was like: Ah ! That's it. I was like: That's all you can say Ah, You know that it mean sooooo much for me. But no.

So that's the moment I like let everything go, about my parents and Celine.

I reserved all my Celine conversation, with fan.

I remember, I even lost a friend because of Celine, I was talkin' about Celine all the time, so she said to me : Ok. That's enough, I don't wanna talk about Celine, I wanna talk about you.

And that was it.

So that's why I'm so happy to having found this wonderful place, with so amazing people.

It is amaaaaaaazing!

For this tour I met Sabrina & Kristin from Germany, Lis from Montreal and Julian from Fort Lauderdale... It's incredible that the first time we met it was like old friends, we hugged and right away we started talking about Celine and the lifes in our countries and we haven't stop talking since day one, friendships that will last forever.

I also had the change to meet Ramona, OH MY GOD, she is the sweetest thing, she is humble, nice, so cool...

For me meeting Celine fans is great because my everyday friends are not Celine fans so i had no one to talk to about Celine. So i love my new Celine-friends.

it is so true that when you meet one of us for the first time.. its not akward, its not wierd.. its like you've known eachother for forever! I think its because we have such a common bond. I'ts never been so easy to make friends and keep them as it is with people I've met through Celine! They are some of the closest friends I have and there's not a thing wrong with that! =) <3

awww Chellbie that video was sooo cuteee!!!!! im not even going to lie, it seriously made me cry! i wish i was there with you all at the hotel! ive already met some of the girls , but i know one day life will bring us all together! i cant wait to meet everyone!!!!! i had always been lonely and had no one to share my feelings about Celine with, but this forum has given me a place to do that, and im so grateful for that! thank you for your friendship everyone! it seriously warms my heart, and shows me how powerful Celine can be! not only has Celine blessed the world with her voice and generosity, she has brought together ppl, that have built friendships, which im sure will last a lifetime!!! I met my bestest best friends in the entire world becaue of celine..we shared alot of common things..and talk of most the time by msn and facebook.we talked alot of things..nonsense things..we had language class every now and then in that way we can understand each other.

we have some conflicts and misunderstandings sometimes..but thats make friendship stronger..coz i believe that each one of us should adjust to one another to make it work.

im so thankful to celine that i become a fan with her because through her i met my truest friends..its so weird that you came from other countries and different language but still you get the bond of friendship because of sharing common interest,and by that its PRICELESS.

im looking forward to meet them in person soon.and i believe that each one of us were destined to find his or her bestfriends to keep for life..

It's true, wherever you go to see Céline there's always someone out there you can call a friend! It's especially the reason why Céline's time in Vegas was so special to me. It was one big celebration returning because it was the central point in the world to meet up

It's been truely amazing to be a Céline-fan!

Aww. :wub: It really is amazing how she brings us all together. Most of us would have never met had it not been for her. Most of my friendships are because of Céline too. It's amazing how when we meet, it's a hug - it's instant conversation like we've been friends forever and this is not the first time we've met. Céline is such an amazing person, and she attracts amazing people. I feel so lucky to have met some of you whether it be in person or on here, and I hope to meet many more of you in the years to come! It's so comforting to know that no matter where I go in the world, I will have a friend. :hug:

Though the link doesn't work for me, I can imagine what it is like and the strong bond among Celine fans.

Like many of you, it's hard to find a celine fan in my life, but I won't feel lonely or speechless anymore whenever I find so many people share the common love on the internet.

The world is small as well as large. It's so magic to know people who speak different languages and are from diverse background but talk about the same person we love. That's called cohesion.

Thanks to Celine, I met many friends on forums, either this one or the one of my country. Although some of them I haven't contacted for a long time, we have always been sharing and cherishing the moments we spent together.

I agree with what everyone said. For the longest time I was basically alone when it came to loving Céline, but this forum, and all of you guys, are just amazing!!!!

It feels so good to come here and everyone understands, there is no need to explain or rationalize my love for Céline! I love it here!

I hope to make many many more friends on here...and I hope we can all meet in Vegas in 2010!!

Uh..i met many people right here and we actually became very good friends.I also met some people in Paris during the tour.But from all those friends i really have two BEST friends forever.They r awesome.

By this chance i send greetings to my first friend whom i met here.He was always with me and supported me in anything and i hope that we can go together wherever to share this passion for Celine.

The other one is with me every day,every min and every second.We're really stick to each other and Celine connected us so fast like we knew each other since ever.I love you girl.Ur really the best friend also and im happy i met u.Let all this people here know how much i love u and how i appreciate all this.If i did mistakes sometimes,FORGIVE ME right now and in front of all this people.I LOVE YOU SO SO SO MUCH. :wub:

Well I was very happy to meet some people from the Polish Celine forum before her Cracow concert, and even before that thanks to a thread about Celine on one Polish community website (something like Facebook just not international) I found out that a girl from my faculty is a huge fan of Celine's and we went to the concert together! I believe she is also a member here, but I don't know if she still visits the forum. And, thanks to the same thread, I met a girl who joined us at the concert, and we're friends now. We write to each other sometimes and we're planning to meet some time soon, drink wine, have some girl talk and watch Celine DVD's all weekend long

And of course I'm happy to be here, I'm already beginning to get to know some people better and I feel really good on the forum, I keep wondering why I hardly ever wrote anything or even came here for the first 3.5 ys of being a member... I won't leave you guys too soon now
