I have to say that this album is really well produced from the very beginning, especially that's her first solo album.... I have very good predictions about it:) I love the new instrumental:)

Yeah it definately sounds good! Nothing overproduced, pure, there's an orchestra on some songs and it sounds just very genuine...

Can't wait! All the songs so far sound amazing!

She's not sure yet....there was talk of doing another duet, but just for her album.

But nothing set in stone yet....

Sharon recorded a new song this week, called "Buenos Aires".

She also wrote an instrumental, "Salamanca", but isn't sure if there's any space left on the album, as she has 2 trad pieces already.

Sharon just mentioned Céline on Twitter, saying The Corrs toured with her in Europe and that she's a "lovely woman"....

And when I asked if she would get the chance to work with her, would she do it... and her answer was "Yes!"

Yeah she definately does..... it's even more funny as she was a complete computer illiterate

And now Twitter is like an addiction... But it's cool she's interacting so much with her fans, even her husband does! lol

 

She was even the first guest to be invited through Twitter for a UK TV show a little while ago...

Another Busy Week

 

Hey Guys,

 

Ooooh! it’s getting close! About another week to go and the album will be finished!

 

Had the wonderful Stuart Cable (former Stereophonic, current Killing For Company drummer) in studio this week to play drums on Arms Lie Limp and it sounds ROCKIN! What a great guy! We made the most of his visit and escaped the studio for a much needed night out! Laughed the night away!

 

Laid some beautiful strings on Real World, Buenos Aires and Arms Lie Limp today. Brass on Six Train.

 

Backing vocals on Monday and another special guest during the week.

At the moment Sharon is shooting the video for "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime" in Spain with director Pedro Castro, who has shot videos for Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, Natasha Bedingfield, Bon Jovi, LeAnn Rimes and Ludacris.

 

She'll also be on Terry Wogan's show "Weekend Wogan" on Aug 8 (BBC Radio 2) and do 3 songs...

Sharon confirmed last Sunday that The Corrs will do something again in the not too distant future...probably next year

For the moment Sharon is busy with her album, Andrea should be releasing another solo album and Jim is uncovering all sorts of conspiracies (don't ask lol)..

Omg.....I'm dying here! Sharon has recorded a video for a "Young Songwriters Competition"... in it she talks about the last song that got added to the album ('Butterflies') and performs a bit on the piano. It's so beautiful......I just love love love the chorus!
