The article was quite funny, coz they're talking about Caroline, but have a picture of Sharon. So we thought the pic was wrong (though it was weird Caroline is penning a song)..... and now apparently they got the name wrong! :huh:

Sharon's official site has been updated with a new look and best of all: the FULL studio versions of "It's Not A Dream" & "Small Town Boy"! :wub:

And they sound absolutely amazing....INAD is just incredibly beautiful (and romantic) and STB is quite haunting...very stunning!

Earlier today, she gave an interview on 'This Morning' and she performed 'Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime'!

Sharon Corr has revealed how Twitter got her booked on British TV show This Morning last week. The booking came about after Sharon (39) started following This Morning presenter and long-time Corrs fan Philip Schofield on the social-networking website.

"Someone told Philip I was on Twitter and it led him to look at my website where he found I was performing The Korgis hit 'Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime' in my live set," says Sharon. "It's one of Philip's favourite songs. The next thing I knew he'd contacted me, again via Twitter, and asked would I come on This Morning to perform it."

It turned out to be Sharon's first TV slot without her family group the Corrs. "I'm really used to having my family around so it was a bit unusual to be performing on my own. Nerve-wracking as well, because it all came down to me."

The appearance couldn't have come at a better time for the Belfast-based musician, who is recording her first solo album.

However, despite having talented siblings Andrea (35), Caroline (36) and Jim (44) at her disposal, Sharon says she decided against roping her sisters or brother in for musical duties. "I didn't want to do that because if you get the family in, it becomes half a Corrs record. I think it's easier at the moment to keep all that separate," she says.

The still-untitled album might have some competition from another Corrs solo record, that of younger sister Andrea, who is to release a collection of cover versions produced by U2 producer Brian Eno. But, says Sharon, "There's no competition because, firstly, Andrea and I wish each other the very best."

Sharon says her musical comeback, after a seven-year break, has the full blessing of her husband, Belfast barrister Gavin Bonnar. "Gavin loves me doing it because he knows how much I missed it. He knows music is what makes me tick. It's what I grew up with and if I'm not doing it, it feels like there's something wrong."

Sharon will be joined on tour to promote her album by her and Gavin's two children Cathal (2) and Flori (1).

"I really want the kids touring with me," she says. "They're at an age where they don't need to be tied down yet to school. I think the world is a great place for children to learn."

Sharon Corr has made a major breakthrough with her debut single

In the first week of its release, ‘It’s Not A Dream’ is one of only two tracks to have been added to the BBC Radio 2 A-list – the key tracks that will definitely receive maximum rotation on the channel over the course of the next week at least. There are only ten tracks in all on the A-list, which includes Paolo Nutini’s ‘Coming Up Easy’, Athlete’s ‘Superhuman Touch’ and Lily Allen’s ‘Twenty Two’. This week’s second newbie is Pixie Lott’s ‘Boys and Girls’, which is BBC2’s Record Of The Week.

“It is an amazing achievement,” Sharon Corr’s manager John Hughes told Hot Press. “Normally you expect to debut on the C-list and maybe progress to he B-list – but going straight to the A-list with a debut release is really special. It is a statement of how highly they rate the record.”

Among the tracks debuting on the B-list this week – and which by definition have been outshone by ‘It’s Not A Dream’ in the eyes of the BBC Radio 2 team – are U2’s ‘I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight’ and Noisettes ‘Wild Young Hearts’. The Dolores O’Riordan single ‘The Journey’ is also in favour with the BBC, nestling in the C-List for the second week, alongside ‘Moments Like This’ by Reamonn – the German based rock outfit fronted by the Tralee-born former singer with the Reckless Pedestrians Rea Garvey – and The Duckworth Lewis Method’s superb ‘Meeting Mr. Miandad’. In all, an impressive four out of a total of 27 playlisted tracks have a strong Irish connection.

“What’s exciting is that BBC Radio 2 is the most influential radio station in Europe, especially where it comes to selling albums,” John Hughes adds. “It really is very encouraging to have that kind of endorsement, so early in Sharon’s development as a solo artist. I knew that it was a great single but still I’m amazed.”

Sharon Corr has recently made a number of successful festival appearances, including at the Isle of Wight and Oxegen. Her as yet untitled debut album is scheduled for Autumn release.

Meanwhile, Sharon has also just completed the recording of a duet with the Spanish superstar Alex Ubago, who is a huge seller in Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Venezuela as well as Spain.

There's a fun show called 'CarPool' in which presenter Robert Llewellyn interviews guests in the car on their way to some place they need to be.

Recently he interviews Sharon and now the interview's online! It's really a fun way to interview and the interview is quite funny and laid-back....

'It's Not A Dream' is shaping up to be a huge hit.

Sharon Corr's 'It's Not A Dream' has hit the UK Airplay Top 50. The fastest climber in the UK this week, by some distance, the record moved from No.315 last week to No.41 – with a further surge likely next week.

"Getting A-listed by BBC Radio Two was a huge breakthrough," one UK radio insider told Hot Press. "The likelihood now is that a lot of the regional stations will follow, and so I'd expect that momentum to continue next week."

Corr has been doing promotion around the regional stations, and in the process further winning hearts and minds.

"Sharon will make a big impression," the source added. "She has a lovely personality and is very warm – and that comes across. From my own experience, it makes a big difference to people on the ground in radio, if you put the work in."

Other big climbers this week are Pixie Lott with 'Boys and Girls' (up from 20 to 9), Daniel Merriweather's 'Impossible' (up from 39 to 15), Little Boots' 'Remedy' (up from 47 to 22) and Mika's 'We Are Golden' (up from 60 to 26). The current No.1 is Black Eyed Peas' 'I Gotta Feeling'. Sharon Corr is the only Irish artist currently in the airplay Top 50.
