Frida! Fashion emergency! What do I wear to OPRAHHHHHHH? They recommend bright colors. I just don't know. I don't know.

I think so too, Darren- you just read my mind :P I just found this one which reminds me of Celine's Lanvin dress in a similar length/style

I got that one ^^ It's perfect! Got my shoes, need accessories. I'm thinking gold.

gold would be nice, but i think silver, with nice... high black/silver heels and a nice braclet would be more chic, up to you though :P

she went for this look around the time she seen her vegas wax statue for the first time and it was really nice!

I came home around 1.15 AM this morning. The drive home took 5½ hours instead of the normal 3½-4, it was chaos (snowing), tons of accidents and stuck trucks and busses along the way. We made it home safely though, thank God. Got the chauffeur a bottle of wine today as a "thank you for driving the way you did"...

Aaaanyway, the day didn't exactly go as planned, but where's the fun in that? :P Started off with me slipping on the melting snow, falling on my right and landing on my Vernis Alma! ON THE PAVEMENT! :pinch:  I wasn't hurt, but more importantly (haha!), you almost can't see a thing on the patent leather. I've "babied" the bag for two years, and all this time it could've taken a hit like that!

Anyway, then we were off to LV and I didn't leave the store empty handed ;) Haven't taken any pics yet, will do so later

But here are some pics from the "invitation only" viewing. I fell in LOVE with a Kelly bag :in_love:

I carefully checked to see if I'm in it and I'm not, thank GOD (we walked there in the snowstorm, didn't look too good when we arrived LOL)

So here is a fashion question of a different kind: I have to go to a hobo themed party next week and I have no clue what to wear. Any suggestions? I think the easiest will be a pair of those ripped jeans you get. Edited by Claudette

Finally a fashion question of which I can speak with some authority! :P

To get the proper hobo look, I think you have to go back to the American Depression. So no blue jeans, more of a battered, dusty working mans suit with an old fedora hat or similar. Again dirty, dusty and worn clothes are essential. As if you started out looking respectable but after a few months of walking along dusty roads and hopping on/off freight trains have taken their toll. Go for dark, depressing colours, no tie, and some shoes with the soles lifting off them. A charity shop should have all you need and then just damage it all as much as you can. Nice touches would be the trademark hankerchief on a stick for a bag and a harmonica in your pocket. Blacken out a tooth and don't shave for a week. (or, if you don't shave your face anyway, add some whiskers with make up) Good luck Claudette!

:lmao: Thanks John, that is very helpful. I don't know why she just do a normal costume party. I would rather go as something a bit more cute. :sofunny:

Thank you :D I'm so happy I FINALLY have the Bloomsbury, I've wanted that one almost as long as the Palermo PM and I really needed a crossbody bag. And I got so excited when they had the Pochette Cles in the new Blanc Corail colour, never thought they would

 that is gorgeous!

That was my favourite as well

Wore my new Bloomsbury today for the first time, and LOVED it

Frida, do you know the designer of Angie's jacket (the dark headed one) and the designer of the shoes in the second photo (the black heels)?

Look how adorable Julie Snyder was at Oprah in her little shawl and boots! She is tiny! Was a bit surprised, I thought she was taller. I liked her outfit. This is Angela's photo I think from the parking area.

What a lovely topic! :D

I'll dive into my closet when I get home :P and get an idea of what my style is

(I think I don't really have 1 style though......and I've got way too many things :P)

Well the "Celine Dion style" wig finally came today (it took a month to arrive from HK). I'm not impressed. It's sooo much darker than in the picture. It looks like her natural hair color - not at all the honey color from the tour. Oh well, $80 in the bin. At least the style's OK.
