Bellamy Posted January 18, 2011 at 06:43 PM Posted January 18, 2011 at 06:43 PM Well that sucks, what company is supposed to forward it to you?I ordered on AlexanderMcQueen.com on Dec. 17th. I got an email on Dec. 21st told me my order was shipped, but no track number. I emailed a few times for track number, no reply. So I waited and waited, I think maybe no one answer and the shipment is slow cause of Xmas vacation. I waited until Jan 10th. And I can't wait anymore, so I called them. Finally someone find out they actually didn't ship out my order at all. Then I have to call back again 2 days later to get the track number. Finally I think it will be ok. Then I track the shipment on UPS.com till it's delivered. But it was delivered to San Francisco, CA, not the shipment address in Portland, OR that I input. I think WTF. So I have to call again today. And they say they will check what was wrong and reply me later. WTF! Also non of my email was answered. I will have to call again to check what's wrong later. I may ask them just refund all my money and cancel the order. I seriously don't want to deal with their horrible customer service any more. But the price of the shoes I like dropped again since Xmas. It's 60% off now. Guess they will be off the store soon, cause of new items from 2011. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
Bellamy Posted January 18, 2011 at 07:00 PM Posted January 18, 2011 at 07:00 PM I just called again. Actually it's because the items I ordered were probably out of stock. And the track number they gave me was not for my shipment at all. WTF! So they lied to me twice about they shipped out my order. Now they told me if they can't find the items today, they will refund me. They should give me a lot of coupons for their mistakes. Shamrock_1982 Posted January 19, 2011 at 08:53 AM Posted January 19, 2011 at 08:53 AM Annie thinks I should get the Cyrille sunglasses or the Charles...So I've narrowed it down to 3 now Quote
J-Man Posted January 19, 2011 at 09:42 AM Posted January 19, 2011 at 09:42 AM (edited) Bellamy that is a mess. What was that order for again?Yes, a company like that should have been a lot more professional. It really isn't good enough to have messed you around like that. Darren, I personally think I would go for the Cyrille. They are different enough to stand out, but still have a sophisticated look to them. Charles are also nice, but less distinct and also the name is only on the lens. You want people to instantly know you are wearing designer! Pablo I reckon you are more likely to damage them when you start messing about with changing lenses and frames around. Plus they are more expensive. Anyway I have a feeling you are not going to want to tell Annie Horth that you didn't go with her recommendations. So between those two, for me, Cyrille is the way to go. The only thing that would put me off is wether the design of the frame is too close to your Ace ones. What do you think? Shamrock_1982 Posted January 19, 2011 at 09:46 AM Posted January 19, 2011 at 09:46 AM True... the Miguels are nice to though! lol.I thought Brad Pitt's Pablo's are sooo nice also. Harrods and Harvey Nich's only have the Charles, so I'll have to track down the Cyrille and Miguel to try on before I splash the cash... Thanks for ur thoughts guys Quote
ladylindsey Posted January 19, 2011 at 10:13 AM Posted January 19, 2011 at 10:13 AM Darren- I vote Cyrille! I like the Charles, but they are less impressive imo- I feel like I have seen that style quite often before but the Cyrille really stand out! Quote
Bellamy Posted January 19, 2011 at 05:16 PM Posted January 19, 2011 at 05:16 PM Annie thinks I should get the Cyrille sunglasses or the Charles...So I've narrowed it down to 3 now Ahh, how nice to have Annie as your fashion advisor. Bellamy that is a mess. What was that order for again?Yes, a company like that should have been a lot more professional. It really isn't good enough to have messed you around like that.2 rings ordered for my sister. and finally they told me they are out of stock. WTH they process my order and charge me and told me it was shipped is completely beyond me. They even lied on the phone calls earlier. And they told me they don't have coupons. They can only give me free 2nd day shipping for my next order. If it's not because I love Alexander McQueen so much, and there is good discount there. I would never want to deal with them again. Some shoes I like are 60% off now. Please tell me what do you think about these shoes:http://www.alexandermcqueen.com/us/en/shop...OP-SNEAKER.aspxI like this one for the skulls, but not sure if I can wear them often. http://www.alexandermcqueen.com/us/en/shop...OP-SNEAKER.aspxI also like this one. But I have similar style sneakers already. http://www.alexandermcqueen.com/us/en/shop...LLION-BOOT.aspxI like this one very much. http://www.alexandermcqueen.com/us/en/shop...ELSEA-BOOT.aspxThis is the safest choice, but very boring. Shamrock_1982 Posted January 19, 2011 at 06:56 PM Posted January 19, 2011 at 06:56 PM i love the first two, and if i had the money id buy the second pair Quote
Shamrock_1982 Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:31 AM Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:31 AM Went to Harrods yesterday to try on the sunglasses... They never had Pablo, and I think they are too expensive anyways... the Charles did not suit me as they sat kind of high up on my forehead, the Miguel was really really nice, and they never had Cyrille, so I took a gamble and ordered the Cyrille ones online last night... J-Man Posted January 20, 2011 at 01:36 PM Posted January 20, 2011 at 01:36 PM That's great. I hope you are pleased with them. Guess you can always return them and get the Miguel ones anyway. Quote http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png

MTJ Posted January 20, 2011 at 08:43 PM Posted January 20, 2011 at 08:43 PM still looking for my elusive gold sequined mini dress from my dreams Oh, was it this one? or maybe this? Quote
MTJ Posted January 20, 2011 at 08:51 PM Posted January 20, 2011 at 08:51 PM Darren, great choice. I would have said the Cyrilles, too. Not because they look more TFish... if one wants to show off how "stylish" they are, they should stick with these: But because buying aviators online is a huge gamble. The slightest variations on the lens can look totally different on one's face. Plus, if you want aviators, do what Celine does and stick with Ray Ban. Quote
ladylindsey Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:02 PM Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:02 PM (edited) Oh, was it this one? or maybe this? ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh the first one Yay Cyrilles! I hope you like them and that they look marvelous! I love trying on sunglasses. There are some LV shades I would just love to have but I think I'll be sticking with the 3 pair I haven't managed to break or lose now! Edited January 20, 2011 at 09:04 PM by ladylindsey Quote

J-Man Posted January 22, 2011 at 02:26 PM Posted January 22, 2011 at 02:26 PM (edited) Bellamy, I think the second ones too. The Gallion on the brown ones may get a bit too much after a while. Yeah Darren, after all the help we gave you, we are entitled to see how the final product actually looks on you. And you know you are just dying to show us anyway, ya big ould poser ya! MTJ Posted January 25, 2011 at 06:41 AM Posted January 25, 2011 at 06:41 AM WOWZA I need to update y'all on my closet. I don't have half those things anymore. So much nicer stuff. To copy Frida's questions: • A few keywords to my style would be: American classic in monochromatic colors • A character/celeb whose style I love is: Anderson Cooper • In my closet you can find: lots of linen, dark jeans, leather jackets, cashmere sweaters, classic polos • My favorite items come from: Wilson's leather for jackets, Banana Republic for pants, JCrew, Target • Any 'guilty pleasures'?: My Frye boots were expensive, but they weren't ridiculous. Cashmere sweaters? I'm more into fabrics than brands, so I try to find really nice things inexpensively. tuxedo jacket and silk dressing robe linen shirt from Target, jacket from Wilson's Leather shoes: left to right, back to front: Nordstrom, Diesel, Converse, Johnson & Murphy, Frye close-up of Frye boots and Christian Dior sweater JCrew and Ralph Lauren jackets, JCrew polo Quote

No, but you could always contact customer service and see if they can locate one in a store somewhere.
