We all know how great Celine is with her fans and sometimes she is so accessible in a way that most celebrities are not. I mean, people have been very fortunate to receive autographs from her and even seeing her from her car. All it takes is for a deranged person to be near Celine and Celine being in the wrong place... Laval police say they believe Yvan Jolin appeared confused when the 41-year-old was arrested outside Céline Dion's palatial estate on Île Gagnon in Laval last week. His car was like a warehouse, they said, and among the things they found, a hatchet. Jolin was charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous intent, breaking and entering and harassment. Police say Jolin rang up the intercom at Dion's home Thursday demanding to see the Quebec diva or her husband-manager René Angélil, did it again Friday, and was arrested after allegedly getting past the first gate of the property. Police say this isn't the first time he's hung around the house and tried to reach the couple. Jolin was taken to Laval's Cite de la Sante Hospital for evaluation. That's why he wasn't in court for arraignment. And so lawyers agreed to send him off to Montreal's Pinel Psychiatric Institute for a month-long evaluation to see if he's criminally responsible for his actions. Jolin's lawyer entered a plea of not guilty to the charges. He has no criminal record. Jolin returns to court in mid-March. The police said his car was filled with all kinds of junk. You know, yes it is true what the media is always saying about how much Celine makes, but she has worked all her life for what she has; it is a shame that she can not just rest with out having to have bodyguards around her. Poor Celine, as gifted and talented as she is, she has paid a awful price for a dream that should give her peace and joy at all times. I pray every day for Celine, Renè, RC, and all her loved ones.
