I for one don't mind that cuzz I haven't seen her perform in Vegas yet. But I definitely will. With my gem in 2010. But on the other hand ppl that have seen her already in the past are bound to be disappointed cuzz the missing colourful giraffes will be about the only new addition.

So I let my fantasy make a list!

I think that in order for 2010 Vegas to work, there will have to be changes from 03-07 Vegas. Doing the exact same set list in the two wouldn't work quite so well.....show has to be fresh and different.

 

Now, I'm sure she will still do BYLM, TPOL, MHWGO, TLYM, IACMBTM, and many other old songs (that unfortunately will be under the same playback). But I think songs such as: I've Got The World On a String, Neopolitan Song, I Wish, All The Way, Seduces Me, and If I Could, will possibly be replaced with some of the songs we have chosen in this thread (or maybe some that we haven't mentioned).

She'll probably release a new album by then, so there is a big chance that the new song will feature some new songs.

I hope they have a few numbers where the audience votes for the song. Like you know on Millionaire, where they have those pads on each seat with 4 buttons? Well they could have them at the Colusseum and have the 4 choices for that night (all rare songs) up on the screen during a costume change, and then the audience votes for their favourite song, and then Celine will sing the one with the most votes!! That would be a brilliant idea as it would interact with the audience a lot!

 

I've been thinking about the new stage too, I'm hoping for a cross between the AND stage, the TC tour stage (the catwalk bit), and the ANDHC CBS sepcial stage (the circles around the edge for the band members). I was also imaging a huge replica of the Titanic culd come up from the floor for MHWGO, but I guess we want a up-tempo show, so we wouldn't want to make MHWGO the visual highlight of the show...

first of all, I would like Celine to sing more songs in French, i don't care if she playbacks them...

 

Second, don't make such a big deal out of the forever-and-for-always songs (TPOL,IACBTMN,BYLM,TLYM), just make a 10min medley with them and let's get those over with.

 

3er, include All by myself, have you ever been in love and more songs from the One Heart and ANDHC albums.

 

last, of course include the uptempo songs from taking chances and A world to believe in.

 

-Again, i don't care if she lip-syncs the songs as longs as the setlist is made to blow your mind and your senses away.

I would hope it is different show from the first Vegas show, that's the only way to make it last. I also hope it is slightly more like TC tour, a little more edgey and less theatrical. I would love a sort of catwalk into the audience. Songs that I want to be added would be:

Maybe I am asking for too much but I can dream, i do think it would be great for her to go back to Vegas, it allowed her to stay in one place and she was still selling out shows. I just don't think she should do as many. I also just got my acceptance letter to University of Nevada Las Vegas, (It's not my first choice school, so I probably won't go there, but if I get a scholarship there, I will) and it would be incredible if she was there and I was living in Vegas.....OMD, dream come true!!!! I can see it now, finish homework friday night, Celine every Saturday (that she's performing)....yay!! oh the possibilities!

If Celine ended the show on a "ballad" i would love it to be Immortality. Can you imagine the echo of "We don't say goodbye" - i'd LOVE to hear this song live, with a mega huge drum base from the second verse. It would make the whole theatre vibrate!!!!

She sang Knock On Wood back in 1995 i think it was. Pretty good, it was sung as a duet which is a bit different.
