Wow, I'm guessing she's on the left, and looks absolutely nothing like herself. Just like the cover of her album "Breakaway" she looks nothing like herself.

I read somewhere that Kelly's natural colour is blonde, it looks okay (in other pictures ) but the brown her is a lot better looking on her.

Hey everyone! I just bought ticekts from ebay.com to see Kelly Clarkson in concert this Thursday at UC Irvine in California. Is anyone gonna see her that day? Or has anyone seen a Kelly concert yet? I would like to know what your feedback about her concerts, thanks!

Kelly's concert was great on Wednesday (December 7th)!! Vocally she was perfect. But I can't believe how SHORT it was... it was like an hour and 10 minutes!

 

I managed to get my camera through the doors... once you've gotten through they don't care if you have a camera. I was afraid they'd find it because someone got their cam taken.

 

When I got there it was still early (5:45ish) and she still was rehearsing so all of us that were there early got to hear part of the rehearsal for a cover song she was singing I don't know the title but some of the lyrics were "over and over" she sounded great in that song, I got some of that song on video. Others I got on video are: :woot:

There was a lot of concert souvenirs but they were all so expensive. I was gonna get a Kelly light stick wave around and a photo that said "Hazel Eyes Tour 2005" but I decided to save my $10.

 

There was an opening band, they sang pretty good but everyone was getting annoyed because it was 8:45 and the concert STILL hadn't started, (ticket said 7:30).

 

Finally the concert started they dimmed the lights and played AC/DCs "You Shook Me All Night Long":xmas_laugh: and Kelly walks out singing "Walk Away".

 

From what I can remember she sang...(not in exact order)

For some reason my camera makes it seem further than what I actually was. ??? I had a very GOOD cheap seat because the Dodge Arena is TINY.

The concert was awesome!! And I was so close to Kelly like 15ft away, in comparison it was about as close to seeing Celine from like 2nd row at the colesseum, it was very close!!! Anywho, I met Kelly's guitar guy's BEST Friend Erez (from Israel, but lives in LA) And I didn't bring a cam!!! So here is a pic from another fan, and trust me, my seat was much closer than theirs!

awesome picture. That's about how close I was for "Breakaway". I saw Kelly 4x. I had 9th row for the Breakaway Tour and lower level next to the stage for "Hazel Eyes". I also saw her on her Independent tour with Clay and the American Idol Season 1 tour, way back when

@Lawna, I think the "Over and Over" cover song you mean is Why by Annie Lennox? Because that is the song that she sung when she came here to Melbourne and I saw her November 9 >.< WOOT.

 

My favorite parts where when she came out after everyone in the audience was singing along to "You shook me all night long" then she came out and it was so great.

 

I also loved the part when she came out in the wedding dress to sing Behind these Hazel eyes, that was so cool!

 

As for merchandise, I brought the tour book and two large posters, because I thought they where pretty >.< and they used my favorite picture of her sitting in that black dress so I had to have it =D

 

Overall, it was one of the best concerts I have been to and I cannot wait for it to come out on DVD!

I'm sure a lot of you have heard about this. Kelly Clarkson's upcoming summer tour has been canceled. She was scheduled to tour big arenas throughout North America--and the tickets weren't selling. Apparently, her new single has not lived up to what it's supposed to be. Her new album is about to come out, and it's not looking nearly as promising as Breakaway. There were reports that Clive offered her 10 million dollars to remove 5 tracks from her new album and replace them with more radio friendly songs--but she didn't do it. This new album is a "departure" from her two previous ones---we'll see how it turns out!!

 

While I wish nothing but goodness to Kelly, I can't help but be a bit happy about this. Only because Celine's upcoming stadium concerts are selling out already! A year in advance! But, even back in the 90s, before MHWGO, Celine was selling out areans. I cannot wait for Celine's world tour!
