Hello everybody! :xmas_smile:

 

I hope you have all had a great Christmas day, I am now totally full up after eating way too much haha!

 

Once everyone has come down from the Christmas high I thought it would be nice for us to talk about any Celine related presents/gifts we received for Christmas this year....

 

My favourite gift I received was the 'For Keeps' book. I have wanted this for SOOO long and finally I have it! It's sooo beautiful and it gives you such an intimate insight into Céline's life. The keep sakes inside are just amazing too.

 

I also received Sur les Planes DVD, Au Coeur du state DVD and On ne change pas CD/DVD pack. :xmas_biggrin: I'm soooo happy!

 

Can't wait to hear your replies!!!

I got a Celine dion Sensational charm bracelet, and the Celine Dion Sensational gift set which includes shower gel, milky body spray (sprayable lotion), shimmering perfume, regular perfume, shimmering lip gloss. I thought the lip gloss was pretty awesome. :giggle:

I got the Sensational gift set too... I'm in looove with the lip gloss!! :P I also got the Céline ornament, the Sur Les Plaines DVD... and the picture of her and I in September enlarged and framed. :) Oh... and one of the Hallmark cards that play one of her Christmas songs when you open it!

 

I hope everyone had a wonderful and Célinish Christmas!

im so happy this year coz i recieved alot of xmas celine stuffs...

first i recieved FOR KEEPS..

then i recieved celine perfume :whee: and i really love the scent... :wub:

 

i had alot of celine stuffs this year so im so happy for that even some of it..i bought it my self :sofunny: i still considered it as a gift from my self

Tickets to the LA concert :xmas_happy: And we actually haven't had Christmas yet (Saturday) so I'm sure I'll get quite a few more things

I got the Live a Paris/On ne change pas 'DVD Collection' :clap:

 

It's only £6.99 on HMV which is really good value! :xmas_happy:

 

I've watched both DVDs. Live a Paris is OK, but I really enjoyed watching the bonus features on the On ne change pas DVD, apart from 'behind the scenes' at Live a Paris and Stade de France. They're awful!! :xmasblink:

Okay well I know it's not this year, but I did get the A New Day dvd last year! :D

I've only gotten 1 other Celine related gift ever and that was for my birthday many years ago

from my brother The Collection 1982-1988. He hates Celine and still bought that for me and later bought my ticket to the LTAL tour my first show which he took me!

 

For Keeps is an awesome book by the way. Whatever is missing in the other autobiography

is surely in that book. I got that new from Ebay in 2005 for $15 shipping included, and just got around to finishing the dang thing a few weeks ago!

I'm not much of a reader I tend to lose my place and can't focus and take the time.

 

Good for those of you who got Celine gifts!

* December 18, 2008. 1st time ever in front row for a concert and it was with my idol Celine!

Dream #1 accomplished.

 

While singing a ballad the only time Celine looked at me was the time I had my sign up luckily!

She stretched out her arm palm faced up while singing with even more emotion in her eyes when she saw it, so it seemed like it was just for me at that moment.

Dream #2 accomplished with the extra bonus!

 

She came and left on my side. I went out 1 row, held up my sign and she stopped, held it herself,

and just looked at it with an awe expression on her face, stunned and amazed when she saw all the glitter!

She looked me in the eyes with those beautiful brown eyes of hers she was tuned into me at that moment and didn't look away, again her looking so emotional as I said with a sincere look on my face to her "It took me 5 hours to make this." (could have been more not sure)

She looked down and away very touched like maybe she wanted to cry then she HUGGED me!!!

She held me for more than just a moment She really took her time! I said to her while about to cry from the hug, "I love you so much!" Then that was it I don't think she said a word to me.

I was crying and saying omg all night with my heart racing and my mind in SHOCK from the unexpected hug and my eyes so sore from crying. I was ready to drop when I got home, but was so emotional I stayed up until 6:30 a.m.! Cried a little for a few days after. Sign and front row seat saved the day!

I didn't get anything of Celine for christmas this year, but I did order a dvd and her official autobiography for my boyfriend for christmas as he's a HUGE fan, but it has'nt arrived yet, and I was hoping it will arrive in time as the order indicated it would, oh well. So I had to go rush out and get him something else!

 

By the way, how is her autobiography? It's rather old though, I'm surprised she hasn't released a new one yet? :confused:

I got the Au Coeur Du Stade CD, and one of Marc Dupre's CDs...after Tout Pres Du Bonheur, I like his music. BTW I didn't know Anne-Marie could sing too. :)

my family and friends think im weird with my obsession for celine so i dont get anything celine-ish but one of my mums friends found and old copy of LTAL that she had at home and didnt listen to so asked me if i wanted it (i didnt have a hard copy) so of course i said yes!! so she wrapped it up and brought it round on christmas eve :D

Wow everyones got some nice celine gifts :) I recieved My love 2CD edition, Belong perfume, Belong body lotion & All the way DVD. My birthday is 2 days after Xmas though so I'm getting more celine things then. Think im getting Celine Dion CD, Delle's CD, D'uex CD, Live in LA cd, A biggg poster,Notes perfume, Notes body lotion & maybe the miracle book with CD & DVD :D I might buy some other things like LTAL DVD with Xmas money ;) hope everyone had a nice Xmas :) x

the d'elles dvd/cd and be the the man japanese promo pic disc purple cd is on its way to me that my dad ordered me i also got the remixes promo single of misled cd single last week in a second hand shop so pretty good

WELL... i didnt get anything Celine, but its fun hearing what all you guys got. My family doesnt know how to even FIND celine related stuff.. maybe next year.. If you want to count the shows I'm going to in Jan. those were my christmas presents to MYSELF! =)

I got Sur les Planes DVD and A front row ticket to Montreal! I am Very Happy with that. I also recieved a dvd that one of my friends made from the washington DC show! It was amazing!!!!!

I didn't get any either... but i bought myself 2 early xmas gifts-- the program from AND and the LTAL tourbook since I couldn't get out to Vegas and I was too young for the LTAL tour even though she came to my hometown twice during that tour... too bad I was like 7 and I would buy tickets for more concerts but the 'rents say I'm too young to travel alone and they don't understand what it would me to me.. so oh well, I guess I'll just have to buy the ONCP, ACDS dvds with my money instead...
