Can you describe the paper insert that comes with the CD-R? Mine is very glossy on the front and is just folded over, no perforation. But there is a line of black dots at the fold.

 

I'm curious as to why the Sony BMG logo is different and why the bottom text on my CD is not bolded.

It seems to me that it's not a good sign when a logo has been altered... Unfortunately.

- If you put the CDR on CD or DVD on computer drive, the date of creation must be 1994-12-31 at 19:00 , like all other official release (Album, single..)

I checked the date of creation, 12/31/1994 7:00 PM, which seems to be right according to what you posted earlier.

 

Where do you see the date of creation? I tried with 2 different players and never saw the date.

I have another question about another promo CD I got several years ago. Is the A World to Believe In CD-R promo supposed to have the English solo version or the English/Japanese duet? The Power of the Music site says the duet, but my copy has the solo version.

I confirm that it is the solo version. That site is not always accurate.

I bought another CD-R promo that I feel is suspicious of being fake. I bought the 9-track US LMBTL remix promo on eBay from "luckylarryspromoshack" who listed several copies of these. While the disc looks and plays fine, the insert that comes with it is poorly printed. There's a big blue line going through the center of the insert and the black background has many visible lines. Can anyone compare with their copy or one bought from this seller?

i bought the same from him as well - i still cant decide. to me the cover looks fake coz its not the normal perforated edges etc but the cd looks real however i dunno if its ever been confirmed as real so not sure. and yes mine has the weird blue line too.

If you want to compare, I just took a picture of my 9-track copy (which I bought from a different seller). There's no weird blue line on it.

Isn't it prettier when the insert is put on the back cover of a book?

It's just like the normal European release (COL 510877 9, UPC: 5099751087793) except that the text on the cover is all purplish grey rather than black, red and white. Has anyone else come across it, too? Is it a reissue? Or simply a printing error?

 

 

It's definitely original - Public doesn't carry pirated products. They're a reputable company in Greece and Cyprus.

 

Whatever the case, I couldn't NOT buy it. I'm just curious to find out why the text colour is different!
