True, but Shania didn't make a "sudden comeback"... the duration of her comeback lasted a whopping 13 years.... but various reasons witheld her from releasing new music. A bit of research beforehand might clear a lot up...

Shania is returning to Vegas for another 2-year residency, this time at the Zappos Theater @ Planet Hollywood!

The show is called "Let's Go!" and will premiere o Dec 6th, 2019.

Tomorrow, her duet with Orville Peck, titled 'Legends Never Die' will be out (incl MV). She will also be performing & announcing something on Good Morning America the same day. Peck and Shania are performing their duet on Jimmy Fallon on Monday (Aug 17).

 

The announcement is the 25th Anniversary re-release of 'The Woman In Me', coming out on Oct 2nd. There will be a 2-disc and 3-disc version.

 

 

 

New music/album is also on its way, she's been working with producers Simone Feline & David Baron. Rumours are the album will be more Indie-Folk.

Absolutely loved her last work, how time goes by so fast. She wrote on many occasions she spending most of her time in the studio

It never really noticed me, but now with the Vocal Mix tracks it does.... On most of the tracks of TWIM, Mutt sings 2nd voice (/there's pretty heavy backing vox).... on the vocal mixes you really hear only her voice and it sounds really refreshing, especially on some songs.

A Netflix Shania documentary "Not Just A Girl" will be out on July 26!

 

Someone on one of the music boards has posted that she will be putting out a new GH release called "Not Just A Girl: The Highlights" on September 2, which includes the title track as the only new track. Tracklist:

I'm so excited for the new song, It sounds very cool in the trailer for the Netflix documentary. Only one week to go!

 

Also, we can hear Shania say that she is finishing working on the new album, so i'm guessing it'll be released next year (hopefully by spring!).

Even though it's probably finished by now since she updated her twitter bio stating "finished in the studio" a while ago.

My Godness, Shania singles are getting worst and worst. I will have to wait for her full album and hopefully there will be some

decent songs. I'm a huge fan and very upset with all her recent singles\duets.

I wasn't expecting this for the new single but it's growing on me and I listen to it several times a day, noddin' my head like yeah

 

Regarding her recent duets, Legends Never Die with Orville Peck was great IMO! I'm still not used to her "new" voice though, It was good when she started sinigin again, in "Endless Love" and "Today is your day". It's much more deep since "Now" and I'm having a hard time listening to her for hours like I used to. Except when I play her older material.
