Songs you hated or disliked, but now love?

Love by Another Name is one that I still don't like.If I Were You,I Love You and Love Is All We Need are also not some of my favorites.But I still listen to them sometimes.

Generally No ! when i hate (dislike) a song there is no turning back. A song must grab me when I first hear it but i listen to the song to know why i don't like it.

But Only One Road, Next Plane Out and I Got Nothing Left are for me now some jewels but it wasn't the case at the beginning.

I still don't like Unison album (every songs except WDMHBN), The Power of Love, When I fall in Love, To Love You More, I love You, When I need You, I hate you Then I Love You, Je Crois Toi, Sorry For Love (both), Forget Me Not, D'elles album (Except Je Cherche L'ombre and On S'est Aimé A Cause) A song For You, Right Next To The Right One and There Comes a Time

i have to add All the Way. this might sound silly, but i only liked it after i've seen the live (or lipped lol) version in the CBS special. celine looked fantastic in that video. (probably her best look ever) and i can now proudly say that it's one of my favorites from ATWADOS.

I've been trying hard to like There Comes A Time, but it's just not happening. This song has it's highs and lows; it's just all over the board. Maybe after a few more dozen listens.

 

My Love definitely grew on me, Can't Fight the Feeling, Ten Days, The Reason, Falling Into You (Celine didn't like this on at first either), This Time.

Be The Man has never been a favourite of mine.....NEVER, but I do like the track used for the Japanese promo CD, which is a bit different than the standard album version .

Ok for me firstly My Love I thought it was the most boring, dull track ever, until I watched the recording session and found a whole new appreciation for it.

 

Nothing Broken But My Heart was another bland track for me until I joined the forum, gave it more of a chance and I really love it, however I still don't love the Celine Dion album sorry Davey, it just doesn't do it for me

 

Now a song for me which i absolutely despised I mean I really hated it was That's Just The Woman In Me, hearing it live in concert totally changed my mind, after that I couldn't stop listening to it, it is clear she has such passion for this song, it's a great track and really speaks to me. I would say TJTWIM is my 2nd favourite Celine song of all time I adore it

It's so fun to see all the different tastes of people! With some songs I'm like like Us, in some small way, my love, falling into you and there are songs I agree with (that i still don't really like;) i hate u then i love u, song for you, i got nothing left

Lol I've ALWAYS loved Water From The Moon since I was a baby Celine fan, you should have heard me belt out that song in my car seat some had their Sesame Street, I had my Celine

A good song you will know by the hatred you feel and the effervescent love it later evokes in you!

 

Tous Les Blues is the one for me. Hated in 1998, loved in 2002.

Hmm, I really couldn't think of any that I disliked and now LOVE. There are some songs I have disliked and don't dislike as much like What a Wonderful World and If I Could but I will still skip them every now and then.

Well these songs I didnt really hate them, but I just didn't care for them as much as others at first and now I love them or at least tolerate them. LOL

 

Le Ballet- when I first heard this song and the whole french album, I didn't think it was that great but now that im a lot older, I thinks its one of her best afrench albums and I also love the song.

 

I hate you then I love you- When I first heard this song, after hearind it once I would always skip it but now I'll actually listen to it when it comes on.

 

Shadow of Love- I got tired of this song cause my mom plays it almost every day and puts the song on repeat. After seeing her in Sacramento on her taking chances world tour aand seeing her preform it live. I can now listen to this song and actually kind of enjoy it.

 

At Last- At first I didn't like this song cause I bought the vegas live cd before I saw the show and I never did like this song, now I really enjoy listening to this song.

 

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face- When I frist heard this song it didn't really grab my attention but now I enjoy listening to it.

 

If Walls Could Talk- I thought this song was boring the first time I heard it but after listening to it I like it.

HYEBIL was always a track I skipped on ANDHC but on OH for some reason I really liked it. RDMH never really got me going until Vegas and seeing her perform it- I think that's the problem- it takes her to perform a song live for it to become real and Celineified- I so wish she had sang 'Us' and 'Miles To Go'

I pretty much like all of them,but the special place that i got now in my heart is The First Time Ever I Saw Ur Face even i hated that song soo much that i'm ashamed to say it now.And then..Natural woman it was not good,but not is perfect and Only One Road too,but now is awesome..I always give a chance to all of the songs..i think that the point is about listening them many times.. I used to hate that song, but I've come to terms with it and now I have "There Comes A Time" to hate, because it's not *Celine tries to be hip and fails* kind of bad like "Love Is All We Need", it's just dull, so until she records something worse, "There Comes A Time" has now been declared offically my new "Love Is All We Need"
