ANDHC! Looked and sounded the best there. TC comes in second, but would easily have been a tie for first with ANDHC had it been LIVE

I was torn between All the way- Which I loved- LCMM on the roof! Celine and N'Sync and Gloria- The Frank duet. She could do no wrong in the late 90's and then there is also These are Special Times... I voted for TAST because it got great promotion (Via VH1 and Rosie to name a couple) Celine looked gorgeous and it was done "in the round". She had great guests and I think it pushed TAST holiday sales. Also, I'm sure the viewership was high because it was Thanksgiving and nothing else was on! haha.... Also, I think Celine was at the height of popularity mainstream around this time.

 

I think the A new day has come speical in the Kodak theater may be the Fan favorite... We were all so excited for our Celine to be back... and she appeared happy and moved to be back as well.

D'elles. She's excited and moved about what is happening around her and it feels less like she tries to make it look perfect. The audience is incredible!

the day that ATW was televised was the day when my grandfather was buried...

 

i can still remember those day... creepy but through celine... i fought my fright...

I don't know, I can,t choose one.

For me there all good. But probably it's between All the way or A new day has come.

She's funny in these two and it have a good balance between the ballad and the uptempo.

SO I really can't choose, Because I love them all.

Defo ANDHC- it was so exciting when you saw her just about to go on stage- and the woman announced "Ladies & gentlemen, please welcome back- Celine Dion" and she kept shaking her head in disbelief at the reaction. And her voice, so strong. TC was a disappointment as was the UK Audience With cos of the lipsynching- she looked unbelieveable but just not on at all. I hope her next one is live because it just makes such a difference to her behaviour and attitude the whole night- she's always tense when she's lipsynching and it's all so scripted. No silly stories like in the ANDHC one where was wearing that Duke whatever it's called 12 million dollar diamond and she was talking about the MHWGO Oscar performance etc.

Only reason why I didn't vote for ANDHC special is bc I didn't like how she looked that day, but yeah come to think about it, it was the best. I voted for 1f4t cause that's my favorite album and the show is thoroughly enjoyable.

Fair enough, but I'd say it was as much a TV special as a concert. Everything was timed for the broadcast, and it was the only concert I've been at with opening credits.

 

Of course, it was also very different from all the other specials: it was broadcast live, and it didn't feature reading of scripted banter or excessive lip syncing. But that's what made it so good... :wink:

My favourite has to be the ANDHC special. Everything was live and her voice was great! I loved BATB with Brian McKnight and MHWGO.

 

Is it possible to download this special somewhere?
