With over 32 000 copies sold in Quebec in its first week, the DVD has the highest entry sales numbers for all DVD's in Canada for 2008!! Congratulations Celine! Scorpian Posted December 7, 2008 at 08:25 PM Posted December 7, 2008 at 08:25 PM yes, very good performance in UK, after 6 weeks it remains in the Top15 Quote http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn53/sscorpian/celinedion.png Taking Chances World Tour 14.06.2008: Frankfurt (Germany) *** My YouTube Channel *** *** Last Fm ***
boyblackuk Posted December 7, 2008 at 09:12 PM Posted December 7, 2008 at 09:12 PM yes, very good performance in UK, after 6 weeks it remains in the Top15 Its excellent when you consider how bad other BIG artists are doing. Christina Aguilera is outKanye West dropped from number 11 to 40 Britney only managed to get Number 4 It also looks like this album is going to sell more in the UK than "Taking Chances" Oh and another thing the album is not even in the itunes top 100 and is still top 20 in the UK. destin139 Posted December 7, 2008 at 09:58 PM Posted December 7, 2008 at 09:58 PM (edited) im so happy that Celine is doing so well in the UK - it makes me proud to be a British fan even though people (well most of the people that i know) dont like her or slag her off, its fabulous to see that she still has so many fans in the UK - rock on!! long may it continue! snow patrol who i believe went in at number 1 in the uk the same week that celine released My Love... are languishing down at 21 Edited December 7, 2008 at 09:59 PM by destin139 Quote http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww171/destin139/Celine2.jpg
Shaun Posted December 7, 2008 at 11:21 PM Posted December 7, 2008 at 11:21 PM "My Love" has been an undoubted success story in the UK doing something that Sony haven't managed to do with a Celine Dion album since " A New Day Has Come" - sell consistenly! Looking at the other "big" artists who have releases out at the moment that I looked at last week: - Dido down to #28 after 3 weeks- Beyonce down to #23 after 3 weeks- Nickelback down to #36 after 3 weeks- Christina Aguilera down to #51 after 4 weeks- Mariah down to #66 after 7 weeks Yet Celine is holding strongly at #14 after 6 weeks, an incredible result! Kyle_Jared Posted December 8, 2008 at 12:06 AM Posted December 8, 2008 at 12:06 AM She is doing incredibly well to be in week 6 and still be in the Top 15. I recall last year Whitney Houston did a similar run when she released a 'best of.' Maybe best of's or greatest hits are popular sellers in Britian? Quote

Excellent News another week of these sales we should hit the 300,000 mark , making it Platinum on sales not just Shipments. Give it another few weeks and it will be a bigger seller than taking chances Quote
stone Posted December 9, 2008 at 06:06 AM Posted December 9, 2008 at 06:06 AM wow...i'm really surprised because i thought this was just a "hey let's throw this album out there right before the holidays and so we can have a Celine album out in 2008". Gotta love Sony but yeah go the UK'ers! I honestly didn't even buy the album because I already have every song on the album. lol Quote
