Rap-Up magazine revealed a bit more info on Beyonce’s two singles - saying “If I Were A Boy” was produced by Toby Gad (Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry”), and “Single Ladies” was produced by The-Dream and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Rihanna’s “Umbrella”). Both songs are expected to impact radio on October 7th, while Beyonce’s new album is scheduled for release November 18th.

Ooo I don't mind a bit of Beyonce here and there.

I think she takes herself a bit too seriously at times, but she does have an amazing voice. I bought her first solo album, and loved it - BDay wasn't too bad either.

I wonder when the new videos will be on Tv, As I don't really listen to the radio much

Disa ... you should finally decide this. First you say that Celine and Mariah are your favorites and now you say that Beyonce is better... And I can't see why you bring Mariah in this thread.

I'm gonna buy this album when it releases here :D Hope they don't do a re-release or else I'll be spending my money on that too

I only hope she won't sing with Justin Timberlake too as I heard somewhere

I mean....isn't there another goy to sing with? Why everybody sings with this boy!!!!!!

Anyway, she's got a good voice, but I'm not impressed

i'm a fan of hers, but B'day was a disappointment for me. Dangerously in Love is one of the best debut albums i've ever heard. but when B'day came out, she lost a bit of my admiration for her. i can't stand listening to the whole cd as almost all the songs sounds quite the same, and most of the songs are tuneless. and i agree that she should not sing with JT too. i mean, i love him, but he's everywhere now, and i'm now sick and tired of hearing his voice in most albums i own.

and now i'm not even sure if i will buy her new cd. (i won't mind skipping this one, unless it's different from her last 2 albums)

Beyonce and Justine probably 2 of the worst performers around. They take arrogance to the next level.

Have you listened to Beyoncé's latest single "If I Were A Boy"? I think it's the best single she has put out and in no time we'll see it topping the charts.

The video premiered today and it's ace as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DclJOgdMq7A

It's a little sad, but the story is amazing.

A new album is coming out in November.

Why does Beyonce have another heartbreak song? -_-

P.S. Her best single was "Irreplaceable"... :wink2:

The version by the demo artist rings truer actually.

I like her and this song but I predict that both the album and the single will flop... I don't know why. I just have this feeling.

For some reason I can't seem to like this song. Same thing happened 'Deja Vu' came out. I hated it but then 'Irreplaceable' changed my thoughts. But then, I got the album for free and I'm not sure if I'll buy this album

I heard this song about a week ago on the radio, and have had it in myhead ever since.

I really like it, it is a very calm song, Usually Beyonce likes everything big and crazy.

...and Alicia Keys has my heart!

her latest album will be called I AM... and is set to be released on November 18.

it kind of echoes Alicia Keys' last album As I Am, and is said to be her most personal album to date. (i find it funny as a LOT of artists are claiming their new releases "their most personal", and it's getting a bit annoying). also, the album focuses more on B's "ballad" side. i think i'm gonna like this album! although B'day has couple of great tracks, it fails to match Dangerously in Love's originality and variety. most of the songs are almost tuneless.

so excited about her new album!

I like the Single Ladies video, but not the song. I wonder what it is now that everybody is putting out singles so fast. T.I. just hit number 1 a couple of weeks ago with "Whatever You Like" and next time you see is "Live Your Life" flying to the top of the charts in a 3-week period. Taylor Swift has put three singles out since the Olympic Games (two months). The Pussycat Dolls are on their THIRD! single already and the album dropped two weeks ago!!

Next thing we'll hear is Britney's second single as early as next week. :lmao:

Im the same as Carla,i keep hearing this song and then singing it for the rest of the day! :giggle:

good job i like it :D

CHOCOLATE is the answer....I don't give a damn what the question was!

HIGHEST AND LOWEST As a lead artist, Beyonce achieves the highest and lowest debuts of her career this week, albeit on different charts. As mentioned above, "If I Were a Boy" bows at No. 100 on the Hot 100, her lowest first-week position in history. Of her 17 chart entries as a solo artist, the highest opening position was the No. 12 debut of "Ring the Alarm" in September 2006 (the highest new entry for a Destiny's Child single was the No. 30 debut of "Lose My Breath" in September 2004).

Over on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, a different Beyonce song. "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," starts at No. 20, her highest debut as a lead artist. Five months ago, "Love in This Club Part II," credited to Usher featuring Beyonce and Lil Wayne, entered at No. 14.

"If I Were a Boy" also enters the R&B/Hip-Hop chart, at No. 61. The highest new entry for Destiny's Child on this tally was the No. 20 bow of "No, No, No" in November 1997.

those are strange stats Luis, I would have thought she'd have a lot of strong debuts :/

Remember that in most cases it's not where you start, but where you finish. Fred mentions "Ring The Alarm" being her best entry of all time at number 12, but it only peaked at number 11 on the Hot 100. This week it may look that "If I Were A Boy" is not doing great, as it enters at a lowly number 100, but the fact is, it's doing amazing! Cracking the Hot 100 with just one week of airplay and no digital sales is a rare occurrence. :D Edited by LuisMa

If I were a boy is a nice song, but why does she has to sing in that aweful way?? she forces the notes, pushing each and every single line out... yuck! if she would have sang it in a calmer non-beyoncé way, I would have loved the song
