Lou555 Posted September 20, 2008 at 12:58 AM Posted September 20, 2008 at 12:58 AM Yes, Celine does have many bodyguards and an extravagant entourage. Many times, there are even police cars leading her caravan of black Suburbans. Although she is a very kind person, she has to be protected. I agree. But you know, I don't think she decides those security thing really, the head of her security team make those decision, that's his job. As for being a world class prima donna who is very demanding and who MUST have this and that and..., Aldo Giampaolo said in Journal de Montréal that what was written recently in NY about that was false and a bunch of crap really. Céline is one of the less demanding superstar is has ever meet...and he's meet most of them. Quote
Love, Posted September 20, 2008 at 01:20 AM Posted September 20, 2008 at 01:20 AM In my opinion, I don't think there's anything wrong in being demanding, as long as you do it in a sensible and reasonable fashion. If I were as successful and as high profiled as her, I'd want all the conveniences in the world. I'd buy the most expensive clothes, I'd stay in the most expensive places, I'd try to best life possible. All in all - my spending will help the economy! Quote
Lou555 Posted September 20, 2008 at 03:44 AM Posted September 20, 2008 at 03:44 AM Again I agree. And I think Céline knows what she needs and likes and she likes beautiful things. Why wouldn't she? She spends a lot on clothes and gifts and...etc. and why not, she earned every penny she has. I just wanted to say that for shows she does, she's not the spoil Diva and prima donna they said she is. Recently someone wrote she had something like a 87 pages of demands..lol Ridiculous. That was my only point. Quote
idroveallnight Posted September 20, 2008 at 04:16 AM Posted September 20, 2008 at 04:16 AM Ha! I would expect this from the NY Post but not the Daily News. This is just another ploy by tabloids and journalists to sell their cheap stories. It's actually pretty funny to see this stuff because we know Celine is anything but those things mentioned in the article and if she is, she does a damn good job at hiding it. In all honesty though, all stars do this and it's not ridiculous for them to have outlandish demands. It's the venue's job to make certain the artist is comfortable. After all, they too are making money off the concerts, not just Celine. The show can't go on without the talent so in a way, they don't really have a choice. Plus, these venues gross millions and millions of dollars. I think Celine would reconsider her requests if she were performing at a charity event, for example. Quote
