So guys- I know this topic may cause a degree of argument and heated exchanges- but what are your opinions on the heralded Celine and Rene relationship from the perspective of him being so much older and her being young and gorgeous.

The question I have always asked myself is: Has she ever had a real desire to sleep with someone other than Rene i.e the man in her water From the Moon Video, Think Twice Video, Ziggy Video, It's all Coming Back To Me Video...(because I think they're all rather beautiful)...not these men specificaly but do you think she has the urge to be naughty and be fulfilled in ways that I'm pretty sure Rene can't or doesn't? She is only human...and I don't doubt their love...

You don't love someone because they're beautiful, they're beautiful because you love them. 'Nuff said.

For all the folks having fanstasies about Celine and Garou - maybe they slept together at some time, nobody knows (except them, naturally) but if you're deducing this from the way they're acting while on stage together...

I'm Garou fan so I watched dozens and dozens of his vids - and he acts pretty much the same with others. Hugging and kissing his singing partners of both sexes. Giving them those looks, all that. Just take a look at the vids where he's singing Belle with Daniel Lavoie and Patrick Fiori. Especially the vid from his Bercy concert. Practically all the random people think that they're gays, all three of them. Maybe that's true anyway. At some moment I started to think Garou is really gay - and not only because of this one vid. Maybe it's only a wishful thinking as I rather like the idea ... hehe

And what about that persistent rumor - coming from Quebec, where she is treated like a patron saint, no less - so maybe there is something in that.

Maybe simply people can't believe that she really loves - and has sex with - that fat old man. I'm sure I can't.

And anyway everybody (Celine the first) is always talking how Celine loves Rene - but what about Rene loving Celine?

When he talks about her he talks only bussines.

His money-making machine.

And hell, this guy is creepy! Creepy!

but actually I think we can't answer these questions at all,only person who can answer is celine herself :ermm:

about Rene what frustrates me is that he is not a money making machine actually I think he really doesn't have a hard career, acually he is using Celine to make money.

This topic is makiing me uncomfortable alrteady but I just want to say that I don't understand how ANYONE can watch René around Céline and not see how much he loves her. He talked a lot about it in the VH1 "Au Revoir Céline" special before she was about to take her break. They were talking about his cancer and he said (quote) "I used to be in love with her more than anything, but now...there's not a word that can describe how much I love her" and it was so obvious that he meant it. These little moments, once you look at them, really LOOK at them...like during the All The Way special when they do their "L.V" sign; the LOOK in his eyes....I don't understand how anyone can doubt what they have.

what I meant is,rene loves to work and cos he is Celine's manager his love for work make Celine work harder,

it is not about I think he doesn't love Celine,it is about how he think about her and how he understands her.

There is no way you can say that Rene doesn't love Celine- he does, obviously more tahn anything. And he does always say about how great she looks- like RDMH in Vegas- as a manager, it's a great business move for the show but as a husband, it's great because his wife looks so amazing and beautiful- I loved that

...one thing I did remember Celine saying- when she cut her hair, she said Rene missed her sexy, bedroom hair....maybe he likes to be tickled by her tresses

and I remember once Celine couldn't make the show in vegas so they played the former dvd for audience, and rene told "that was with her blonde her which I hate so much,though she has got her sexy look back,and her beauty is coming back" :giggle:

I really don't dout his love it is quote visible esp as I said in the last night in TVA I really loves his kiss,and also I loved it when his hand was on celine back,it was nice and lovely.

What a wierd topic... I haven't read all of it, but --- Céline and René are lovely together and obviously so much in love. At Oprah, during breaks they were whispering in French to eachother and Céline was singing to him and kissing him on the cheek. It was ADORABLE. They are very much in love, and their sex life is none of our business... :glare:

Its sort of sad to say this about a couple I've never met, but they seem to be the happiest, most in love couple, I have ever seen. It's so great because you don't see much of that anymore in life. At least I don't. With my parents just divorced, and every other couple I know being very unhappy with each other, they're the only people that can still give me a little bit of faith in love. He was in the audience behind me on Saturday night, and when she did her little nose tap thingy for him, it was priceless. You can really tell what they have is real. You can't fake that.

And about the lust and desire for other men... Of course she might had... I believe every woman has. Even the well married ones. Recognize someone is good looking and feel desire for other men's body it's perfectly normal. It's part of our animal instinct.

I agree. When you love someone truly and are even married to him, it doesn't mean that you don't have eyes for anyone else. You see an attractive man on the street or on TV...and just can't help yourself, and you think 'he is HOT!!!'...but that's all. You only think about it, imagine it but don't actually do it. So I guess it sometimes happens to Celine, too. But she obviously has a wonderful relationship with her husband. As long as the two of them get on well, it doesn't matter (at least it doesn't bother us) if they have some dreams about other people now and then.

Well, this is certainly none of our business but I'm absolutely sure that Céline has a very fulfilled sex life. I have no doubt about it!!
René is the only man she has ever loved and I don't think that she has ever dreamed of sleeping with someone else. She's not the type of woman who is looking for adventures and she would not sleep with a guy just because he has a beautiful body. She's not a superficial person.

I honestly can't see why René at the age of 66 should not be able to satisfy is wife's needs. Sorry, but that's ridiculous!! He's the one who knows best about her desires and I'm sure he's doing a good job! "If walls could talk...."
Their relationship is absolutely amazing and unique! It's a relationship that most couples can only dream of. And the last thing we have to worry about is Celine's sex life! AMEN!

I agree....I'm very cynical when it comes to romantic love (I guess I've seen too much) but if there is anyone that gives me a faint, faint hope in that maybe it IS possible...it's them.

LMAO...I'm Catholic too, and that just reminded me of a rather awkward Religion lesson in school, when we were informed that since we are Catholic, when we get married it is our duty to have sex with our husband/wife each and every time he or she wants it. I actually thought the teacher was joking at first, but nope! Somewhere in the Catholic books, it actually says that!

Anyway, Celine said some really sweet things about Rene and being with only one man, in one of the new articles in the French section.

I think this is a funny and entertaining topic. Stevo's question is a legit one, and sure it's none of our business, it isn't like we are asking HER! Just some casual convo between forum friends right?

Celine is human and she's a woman (stating the obvious). I'm sure she has desires. Hey, I have desires to show her what a young 25 yr old can do! I'm sure when she saw me the other night she might have thought about it (j/k i doubt anyone looks at me and thinks that but I digress.)

If Celine even wanted to try out a younger guy I'm sure she would have while she had the chance to when she was single. I'm sure she's probably thought about it, but don't we all think about stuff?
