Guess what? I really thought the same when I saw the topic title ... I was like... OMFG!!!

 

When I joined this site last week I went crazy understanding all the song abbreviations. We've become too lazy seriously I had the hardest with I Want You To Need Me. I never listen to it I just couldn't get IWYTNM...OH was driving me nuts

speaking of The Colour of My Love, it really puzzles me why the lyrics printed on the cd booklet are longer than the song itself? there are a couple of lines unsung...

 

i know it's a bit off, but i just wanna ask this here instead of opening another thread about this matter.

 

I never noticed that, but I have noticed it on other CDs! Maybe they print the lyrics in the booklet based on what the songwriter originally writes, and then some lines get omitted during the recording session because they don't sound right when she's singing the song? Just a guess.

i never noticed the same problem with other songs, other than TCOML. but maybe you're right. at first i thought it's a cover, but celine said in TCOML concert that it was given to her by David Foster, so it's obviously a song written specially for her.

The one I remember most is My Heart Will Go On- in the LTAL booklet it has an extra line: "There is some love that will not go away." And I've never heard her sing that line. I'm pretty sure there were others, but I forget.
