The show was AMAZING - this is the 10th time I've seen her and I'm completely speechless. She looked stunning and the choreography was spectacular - especially for EOM. My seats are lousy for Newark and Atlantic City, but I'm so looking forward to seeing her two more times!! Quote

When I went to get my ticket at around five I could see the people who had the tickets that included the sound check all lined up ready to go inside. I kind of hung around the ticket window after I got my ticket and was rewarded with hearing some of the soundcheck, although I'm not sure I heard Celine, mostly the musicians and background singers practicing. My seat was great. I was just a few rows above the circle at the end of one of the catwalks. She was so close! I met a few people ("nuts2you" aka Tracey and "dinawawawa", I think?) who are on the forum before the show and we had dinner which was really fun. The only thing I missed at this show were the French songs she played in Montreal, but the crowd made up for it. Also, before the show I saw Patrick Angelil walking near my row and then moving people into my row. I think they had backstage passes because they all were wearing these tour stickers. I think the set list was the same as the other US/Canada non Quebec shows. But the thing that made the night for me is a few minutes after seeing Patrick I saw two other familiar people walking up the aisle (I was five seats from the aisle). The two people were Rene and RC! They sat a few or more rows behind me! Unfortunately I did not get a picture of them. It was really cool to see them. They quietly left during MHWGO. I will post some pictures I took later. I think I got some good ones when she was close. It was a great night. The only problem is now I want to go to another show! Quote

The setlist was the exact same as Philly, but I feel this show was much more electrified than Philadelphia. I really didn't have many complaints about Philly- but after last night's show, I can say DC was much more energetic! We had a bunch of really pumped up fans around us so I'm sure that helped too.We sat at the very top, last row haha. But you know what? it was actually really nice- I got to stand whenever I wanted! I couldn't believe people were all standing for LCMM when she asks us to get up but then RDMH- the same if not more fast, everyone was back on thier butts again!- everywhere including the floor, with the exception of maybe 5 people. So I was happy I got to stand whenever and dance with Celine!I've got to say that teh Taking Chances songs steal the show. Maybe it's becasue they are so fresh and new. I don't know- but I just adore Eyes on Me, Shadow of Love, Taking Chances..... they are so much FUN!! One more thing.... Celine and the crew entered the arena from one entrance and exited from another. When she exited, we saw a car zoom right by. We assume she hopped right in and drove away. She's got the escape route down... However, I'll be on the floor in Atlantic City-- is there any way to know where she will enter and exit?? I would love to run over to her as she's leaving, but I don't know how I will know which way she'll go. Any ideas would be very apprieciated! Thanks! I had just bought a new camera the day before to replace my broken old broken one so I was learning the settings that day. These are not bad although I wish the ones of her in the vest had come out clearer. The last ones came out really good. I did not take any of these pictures from the monitors. nuts2you Posted September 9, 2008 at 08:22 PM Author Posted September 9, 2008 at 08:22 PM Well, all I can say is WOW, This was my 1st concert seeing her, I was littly in tears cause it was my 1st show of seeing her.Steve you beat me to it,I did hear that after she was leaveing one lady would NOT LET GO OF HER(as in a hug)that was scare I was wondering what had happen to her while she was leaving.One thing that made my night was I was in the same section as steve and looked at me gave my a wink.I did say I love you celine. One other person did end up giving her flowers on MY LOVE.I do have some picture ,but will post them later once I know what to do.She was a little chatie I will say. Quote
