I was at the Verizon Center in 2006 to see The Dixie Chicks, it's a nice venue. Where are you sitting? I know I have floor seats but I forget exactly where, I think I'm in the 2nd section. As soon as the show is over she exits through the crowd from the stage to the back of the venue, at least that's what she's been doing at most shows. There you may have a chance to say hi and shake her hand but you have to be right there. Otherwise you're best bet is to hang at her hotel. Altho I don't know where she'd stay in DC. What 5 star hotels are there? Grand Hyatt maybe? I get into DC on the Sunday b4 the show and will leave the day after the show. Quote ~J O E Y~
