I´ve got a copy of Céline and René's Wedding Album and it´s supposed to be very rare.

 

So I´m wondering, how many of you got it? How many are out there..

Hi,

 

Just let you know the rarest copy of the album for the Mariage of Celine and Rene is this one: See picture.

I scan it for you.

The story is:

 

Magazine 7 jours got the right to publish an edition of this album and the magazine put his logo on front page and for sure a code bar in back. It is the commercial copy.

BUT Celine and Rene wanted to give a personal one for their guest...here it is; without any code bar or logo.

Only the guest at the Mariage had this copy and there's only some in circulation now cause you can imagine... Only collectors take care of items like that!

 

I'm sorry to say that but the mariage was so big here in Québec that 7 jours printed a lot of copies like yours

Here in Québec, every home have probably one like the one you showed.

 

Need more informations... ask me. It will be a pleasure to try to answer if i know the answer

No Sadly I Diddnt, but a family freind DID! They got it signed back in 2003 in the first year of 'A New Day '. I mentioned to them about three weeks ago about me liking Celine and that i collect everything celine lol. They then told me they saw celine in vegas in 2003 and the show was great. The next day whilst in Veges they went back to cesers to go to the Celine Shop and they saw celine and they got this signed lol Having neaver been to veges i dont know where abouts they saw her but Now they have given it to me Arnt i lucky lol

 

Ill tell you all something tho, this time i wont miss celine in veges im off to veges as soon as the first shows start!

ha! yeah im completely alive - the train was so close but i broke free of the ropes and managed to get off the tracks before it hit me. um.....

 

there was an explanation of my lack of appearences somewhere on here last week (i basically havnt got internet in my new flat yet and am at home at the mo coz have just got back off holiday woop!)

 

still am in no position to be buying anything really - its been a bloody sad year for my celine collection i tell ya! hahaha...but um...yeh the latest things have been jus the UK digi pack edition of beauty and the beast (sealed) which i thought was a score! and also i want you to need me maxi cd fiiiiiinally - just one of those ones ive been meaning to get for agggges.

Very nice collection starting there Tim. Considering you're only 15 or 16, you are doing really well. When I was that age I hardly had enough money to buy a few sweets at the end of the week!

Your card sleeves are getting big. I prefer card sleeves to regular jewel case singles. Guess it's cause they never really sold card sleeves in the UK/Ireland. They're nice to flip through, like a deck of cards!

Thanks John. I mow the lawns for my parents and next door neighbours once a week, so I have a steady income from April to October when the grass is growing. Fortunately, some person has paid me £200 for designing some banners for their website, so hopefully that will last me throughout the winter.

 

And yes I prefer card singles too.

 

I think I'm doing really well considering I have only been collecting singles since January, as I now have 86.

-These Are Special Times - GOLD Tin box (eil.com £18.99) - I wanted to make sure I definately ordred the tin box, as many eBay sellers had the picture with the Gold logo on, but said it wasn't the tin box!

I have a question to you, concerning the Live a Paris/On ne change pas DVD package. Can you tell me whether there are 2 separate normal editions of those 2 DVDs? Like regular ones? But packaged together in this case?

Yes I think there's only one edition, as the only catologue number I've come across is 88697 22666 2

Yes, if you look at my DVDs on the shelf above you can see I took them out of the slipcase so that they can be in order with the rest. They are just the regular DVDs, but in a slipcase. The box is much nicer than any other slipcases for re-packaged material I've seen. As you can see it's got the nice ONCP design on the back, so it's a great item to have. Furthermore, it's great value, especially as LAP and ONCP are both hard to find in the UK...

Oh right. Me and Davey must have the US version. Is your DVD NTSC Region 0?

 

If so, then the FBI warning is the only difference between your copy and mine, as the catologue number and everything else about the item seem to be identical.

 

Edit: I've just found these 2 pics of the back cover of the TAST Collector's Edition, and as you can see the first one is obviously European as it has the German and UK symbols, the other US as it has the FBI logo. So that is the only difference.

When she not popular (only in Québec, it was easy to talk with her...

For now starting a collection is very hard cause prices are not the same and there are items from arounf the planet...so you are very excellent Tom.
